Pet Catchers: How to Get Universe Sentinel Fast

Pet Catchers just got a new update, which included a new trading feature and various limited event rewards. Among these limited features is the Universe Sentinel pet, which you can get by completing a series of tough challenges. Here is a quick guide with tips on how you can get it as fast as possible!

How to Get Universe Sentinel Fast

First of all, you will have to progress far enough into the game to unlock the Magma Basin region. Not only that, you will need to do the quest to unlock the door in order to reach The Summit.

In The Summit, you will find the new event NPC right behind the lava pool where you can fish in this area. If you speak with this strange alien, you will start their quest line called the “UFO Quests”.

I won’t sugarcoat it; this will take a lot of time to finish. This is because you will be given increasingly difficult “Defeat x number of enemies” quests, among many others.

A Few Tips That May Help

As of writing this, I’m not even close to finishing the requests myself due to a few objectives that act as a hard wall, but I have seen some of the later quests and I can give you some tips that may help.

For the first few Strange Request quests, you are going to need a relatively strong combat team. If you are already at this point, you should ideally have a handful of Magma Cubes (or better) that are leveled up.

This will give you a decent enough damage output to start farming all of the enemies that you will need to defeat early on. The alien will have you going through each zone and killing all of the mobs over and over again.

If you have a lot of Radioactive Jelly and Mystery Scrolls, you should try getting bonus damage and lifesteal on your combat team. This will make the whole process much easier and AFK-able.

Dealing With Bosses

In addition to having you kill normal mobs across the different areas, you will also be tasked with defeating bosses at a certain level. So, if you ever plan on getting the final reward, we hope you’ve been grinding the bosses.

One of the earliest objectives will have you kill both the Kraken and the King Slime in at least level 5. Sounds easy enough, right?

Well, by Strange Request #5, you will be tasked with killing the two bosses again, but this time at level 15. If you don’t have Respawn Tomes on you, this is going to take quite a lot of waiting. There’s no other way around it.

While I haven’t personally reached this point yet (and I probably won’t try, to be honest), one of the last quests will require you to kill both bosses ten times at level 30+. That’s a rough grind.

Time to Go Fishing

After the first few Strange Request quests, you are going to be tasked with catching fish. And we mean, a lot of fish, not just a handful of common ones.

Because of this, you should have at least a Gold Rod. If you have a Diamond Rod, even better. This means finishing the Old Sailor quest line, which will take a lot of time as well.

Basically, you will be catching a ton of high rarity fish throughout the alien’s quest line. Not only will this require a good rod, but you should ideally have a separate pet team with fishing luck traits.

In addition to that, if you have a whole lot of these, you can also pop fishing luck potions to very slightly increase your chances of high rarity fish.

This grind will take hours, and there is no real shortcut to getting them done. If you have an auto clicker, you can do this almost completely AFK, otherwise, just don’t forget to click every 20 minutes.

Catching Random Pets

Finally, you will also get objectives to catch a lot of pets across the different regions. This one is going to be somewhat easy, as long as you have enough cubes to do it quickly.

Just stock up on a lot of rare up to legendary cubes and run over to wherever the quest asks you to catch pets. This will be completely trivialized if you have the Auto AFK feature unlocked at the Dusty Dunes (this requires a few thousand gems).

And those are all of the tips we can give you when it comes to unlocking the Universe Sentinel pet in the game. While you’re here, you may want to check out our guide on how to get prismatic eggs fast in Pet Catchers to start getting some good legendaries!
