In Pet Catchers on Roblox, you are able to obtain and collect a variety of different pets and show them off to others. Many of these pets require you to do a series of quests and grind for them. This is the same for the new Secret Quest that is available in the game now.
Doing this Secret Quest will actually allow you to get a Secret Pet as well. In this guide, we’ll be showing where you can find the quest and how you can complete it. We’ll also show you the amazing pet you can get. Let’s get into the guide!
New Secret Quest Location & Secret Pet
Pet Catchers can feel really grindy at times, especially when you are doing some of the longer quests. Usually, this is because of some item requirements that you’ll need to farm for a long period of time. One of these items you’ll need to get are Shells.
Check out our How To Get Shells Super Fast guide if you want to make this grind much more manageable. Now, let’s turn our attention to the main topic at hand for Pet Catchers. Here are the steps that you’ll need to follow to get to the New Secret Quest Location and complete it to get the Secret Pet:
- Go to the Magma Basin on the map
- Go to the Blackmarket and start jumping on the wall to its right
- Get to the top of the Volcano and jump inside
- Talk to the King Crab to get the Secret Quest
- Go to the Sunset Shores on the map
- Kill x1000 King Crab enemies on the beach
- Obtain the King Crab pet as a reward for completing the secret quest.
Secret Quest Obtainment Location
Starting off, you’ll need to actually locate the Secret Quest in Pet Catchers. For this, you’ll be going to a specific location. Open your Maps tab in the menu. You’ll be using this to go to the Magma Basins location in Pet Catchers.
Once you arrive at the Magma Basins, look to the side and you’ll see the Blackmarket stall. Make your way to the right side of the Blackmarket stall. Here, you’ll be jumping on the wall here. Keep jumping on the wall constantly and the spamming will allow you to start climbing it up.
Climb this wall up all the way to the top of the volcano in Pet Catchers. Once you arrive at the top of the volcano, it’ll seem like there’s nothing here. However, you’ll actually be going inside the volcano. So, take a deep breath and jump inside!
Obtain Secret Quest
After you jump through the volcano, you’ll see the King Crab NPC there. Talk to him and he’ll give you the Secret Quest in Pet Catchers. As part of this quest, you’ll need to defeat x1000 King Crab enemies. These enemies can be incredibly difficult to kill so you’ll be grinding quite a lot.
On top of that, they only have a 1% chance to spawn in a specific location in Pet Catchers. As a result, no matter how experienced you are, it’ll likely take you two days to complete even with grinding. The duration will depend on your luck and how many King Crabs you can spawn. Now let’s look at where you can find these enemies and kill them to complete the quest for the secret pet!

Secret Quest Completion Location
To complete the secret crab you got from the King Crab in Pet Catchers, you’ll be heading to another location. So, open up the map and make your way to the Sunset Shores location in Pet Catchers.
Once you spawn here, you’ll need to walk a little bit towards the water. Here, you’ll see a spot where crabs tend to spawn. It is in this location that you’ll also be looking for blue King Crabs that have a crown on their head. Unfortunately, they will not always spawn since they only have a 1% chance to spawn.
So, you’ll need to keep repeating this process until you’ve killed a 1000 King Crabs. Once you do so, you’ll complete the secret quest and get the Secret Pet in Pet Catchers. Secret Pet Stats and Features (King Crab)
After you complete the Secret Quest in Pet Catchers, you’ll get the Secret Pet. This is the King Crab Pet and it is incredibly unique.
As you can see in the image below, the King Crab is incredibly huge. It stands out from a long distance away, so you’ll want to get your hands on it as soon as you can. It won’t be available later on too, so we encourage you to grind for it.
However, in terms of stats, it does not really stand out. The Base Stats for the King Crab pet in Pet Catchers are the following:
- x1500 Damage
- x400 Coins
- x550 Tokens
Additionally, you can convert the King Crab into its Shiny version. It will take quite a bit of resources but it is possible. When you make it a Shiny, it will turn into a giant Red Crab.
A Shiny Red King Crab might be worth it just for the look again. Unfortunately, the Shiny version of the King Crab does not really have good stats either, even if you go to the Max Level. Here are the Max Level stats for the Shiny King Crab in Pet Catchers:
- x6000 Damage
- x1600 Coins
- x2200 Tokens.
As you can see, there are really abysmal stats for a pet, especially for one as hard to obtain as this one. Even with the Deadly Ruin Charm, the stats are really not worth it. So, if you’re only in it for the stats, the King Crab is not worth it as a pet. However, in terms of the uniqueness, rarity and look, this Secret Pet is the best one you can get in Pet Catchers!
