Pillar Chase 2 is one of Roblox’s survival horror games where you must survive rounds by either being a monster or the player chased by the monster. Each monster has unique skills, abilities, and stats and you must use their weaknesses to help you survive them. Some monsters have better abilities than others. This tier list covers the best monsters to the worst ones.

Best Monster 2 Tier List (Up To Niloticus)

Monsters in Pillar Chase 2 are constantly dropping with each new update and currently, it’s difficult to keep up with all of the new ones. This is also one of the reasons why players love the game because of its wide variety of horrifyingly interesting monster collections to choose from.

Since we try to keep guides and Tier lists as updated as possible, our Tier list will comprise monsters up until Niloticus. (New monsters will be covered in later Tier Lists).

Here is the Tier List.

Monsters Tier List in Pillar Chase 2

S+ Tier

  • Niloticus

Currently, Niloticus is on the highest tier of the game, but chances are, that’s going to change soon. Currently, this character is overpowered compared to all the other monsters. It can out-stamina players more effectively, and its leap ability is good. Catching a player mid-chase while playing this monster deals damage to the player. It also puts you in a bite animation where Niloticus recovers stamina.

Niloticus’ biggest weakness is maps where players hide in bushes or lockers. From the survivor’s perspective, they do not have many choices for survival during a chase.

S Tier

  • Forest King

Forest King is also another monster who’s fun to play as. Similar to Exe, you get a speed boost whenever someone is trapped. You also don’t have to rely on a map to play as this character. You can use the Floating Heads to help you navigate and get a guess of where a player might be hiding.

Forest King has a strong lobby wipeout potential because of its ability to zone players. They can also do a lot of damage while sprinting when someone’s trapped which makes him a good punisher. Forest King may be one of the strongest monsters in the game.

  • MX

MX is fun to play as, he’s one of the most punishing monsters in the game, he has incredible lobby wipeout potential due to the bloodless passive, he can instakill, and has abilities that allow him to constantly move around the map.

The current MX is the strongest this character’s been and almost always inescapable. That is, unless you have full stamina and run before MX does.

A Tier

  • Uncle Samsonite

Uncle Samsonite is one of the most effective and brutal punishers in the game. With his dance ability, you can destroy players with ease. He has a grab ability for far-range. His dance range is much shorter now compared to his previous version.

If you’re facing more competent players, playing him would be a bit of a challenge but you still have the option to teleport. He is a great monster to use when killing newer players.

  • Ao Oni

This character’s attack and moving speed were slightly nerfed and as a result, feels a bit weaker when you play him. He has had a small change to his shapeshifting where he no longer has a speed boost coming out of his shapeshifting. Instead, he can out-stamina players coming out of shapeshifting which is better. Ao Oni has high damage, fast kill animation, and a solid punisher putting players in a bone break when they’re trying to escape a dead-end.

  • Fogborn

In the recent updates, Fogborn has gotten one balance patch where his thunder warp was reworked to help deal with bigger maps like Gilgamesh. Players assumed that the thunder warp update seemed to be a huge buff because instead of giving you fast speed when you come out of teleport, it makes you choose when you’d like to leave come out of teleport.

He’s a tough monster to play as and if a player is good, they can definitely win against Fogborn. You can use his stare ability and get players who react poorly by catching them off-guard allowing you to wipe out lobbies of unsuspecting players.

  • Baldi

Baldi got some solid buffs in the recent updates where the anti-hearing tape is actually quiet making it easier to ambush players. They’ve also increased this monster’s passive a bit allowing him to rack up speed.

He is difficult to play early on in the game but also capable of wiping out lobbies if you manage to land your hits. His strength is his ability to effectively ambush players but may struggle a bit against corner campers.

B Tier

  • Exe/Faker

Faker relies on certain maps to place his traps. He has a good combo with his lung attack and grabs as long as you manage to get close enough to your target. His stamina is decent and he has the potential to out-stamina a player, as well, given certain circumstances.

  • Rosemary

Despite being slightly faster than players, they have low stamina and an even worse stamina drain which means it’s nearly possible to out-stamina a survivor even with their demonic streak ability.

Aside from all the weaknesses, what makes this monster at B tier and not below is its quiet ambush allowing you to get close to players before they have time to react. If you use your stamina properly, you can catch people off-guard and land your hits.

The least ideal maps for Rosemary are: Eclipse, schoolhouse, mansion

  • Wyst

Wyst is one of the more fun monsters to play as and has one of the best lobby wipe potential with its movement and stamina stats. Wyst’s biggest strength is its attack range. With the regular attack it takes 4 hits to kill someone at 100 HP but if you can manage a single gobble bomb hit, you can kill players in two. If you use the gobble bomb as a kill finisher rather than an attack move, this skips the kill animation, essentially allowing you to kill more frequently.

Wyst is lower than Rosemary because it gets extremely challenging to kill players who are aware of him. This makes it difficult to win as this monster especially when playing with competent players.

C Tier

  • Springtrap

You rarely ever see Springtrap wipe out an entire lobby. He can obtain kills but you need to always rely on your abilities to get results out of Springtrap. Unfortunately with his abilities, he has also has an extremely long cooldown and a long kill animation. Springtrap is decently punishing and can, at times, out-stamina survivors.

F Tier

  • Vapor

Vapor has undergone many balance changes. At one point, this monster was incredibly slow with the option for a boost while attacking at the expense of more slow attacks afterward. The current state of this monster is average speed (faster for only a couple of seconds when you come out of teleporting). They are easily destroyed and take a while to come out making it difficult to use instantly. Vapor’s strength is that it’s a stealthy punisher because of no chase music, allowing it to sneak up on enemies.

The Tier list for all monsters up to Niloticus ends here. Remember that you don’t need to choose your monsters based on tier lists, instead choose them based on who you’re more comfortable playing.
