After years of playing the very first version of Pokemon RPG, we finally got to encounter a dolphin-based Pokemon! Here in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, this friendly Pokemon is called a Finizen.
As most dolphins are known, Finizen is also a cute and friendly type of Pokemon who likes to enjoy with other Finizens. Another interesting fact about Finizens is that they are sensitive to other water-type Pokemons’ emotions due to their ultrasonic waves.
It seems fun and interesting to have a Finizen with you. But what’s more interesting is that evolving this has two forms. Let’s find out how we can evolve a Finizen through this guide.
How to Evolve Finizen into Palafin in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Before we can proceed with the evolution of a Finizen, let me first tell you how to get one.
A Finizen can be found anywhere around the map. As long as there is a body of water, there is a chance that there is a Finizen in there.
Once you already have your Finizen, you have to level this up to level 38.
Once the FInizen reached level 38, what you have to do now is to find a friend who also has a Finizen.
You can either go to a Pokemon Center or to the PokePortal. You should either join their lobby or join them in your lobby–your choice, as long as you both have your own Finizens.
When you are already in the same lobby, you must both throw your Finizens out of their PokeBall. This is where the real thing starts.
You can choose whether to get into battle or use a rare candy in order to level up and evolve your Finizens into Palafins.
A Palafin actually looks the same as a Finizen. The only difference is that there is a heart on its chest. This form is called the Zero Form.
The fun thing is that you can change the appearance of a Palafin. You can do this when you are in a battle and your Palafin is out.
Recall it and change your Pokemon, and then release Palafin again. Once it changes its form, this is now called the Hero Form.
