A mysterious new pokemon awaits you in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the latest addition to the Pokemon role-playing video games series by Game Freak and the Pokemon Company for Nintendo Switch. This series, by far, is the most challenging out of all series to date.
Inspired by the year’s earlier entry, Arceus, Pokémon Scarlet, and Violet combine elements of traditional mainline entries with those of open-world adventures, offering three separate but interconnected plotlines.
Where to Catch Great Tusk in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
The Great Tusk is a Pokemon Scarlet and Violet exclusive pokemon seen in the Scarlet and Violet books. It was initially teased together with the Iron Tread, another exclusive pokemon, in the game’s trailer.
The official Pokemon Twitter account also released gifs showing each of the characters, making fans anticipate more.
Now that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet servers are up and available to play, where exactly can we find this new Pokemon, and how do we catch it?
Catching Great Tusk
The mysterious new Great Tusk Pokemon is a Ground/Fighting type Pokemon. It is part of the Undiscovered Egg Group and has no known evolutions.
While it looks similar to the Donphan, the Great Tusk is a Paradox Pokemon exclusive to the Scarlet and Violet series.
The Great Crater of Paldea is home to the Great Tusk. This enormous crater can be found in the middle of the map. To improve your chances of finding one, head to the Asado Desert on the western part of the crater shown on the map above and wait for it to spawn.
However, you need to defeat the Great Tusk Titan in the storyline first before you can get your hands on one.
Once you’ve finished that part of the story, head to the areas mentioned above and catch it with your Pokeball.
