Remnant 2 is Souls-like game that is the sequel to the original 2019 release. It features tough enemies and RPG mechanics that usually includes XP and other things to level up your character. In Remnant 2, there are similar gameplay mechanics that will determine whether you are strong enough to fight, and it can be annoying to grind for that. But there is a way to farm XP and Lumenite Crystals, so you won’t have to waste hours going around areas to areas. In this guide, I will show you the best spot to do just that.

Before you do any farming, you first need to buy Mudtooth’s Elixir from Mudtooth himself. He can be found in Ward 13, and the elixir will cost you 500 in-game currency. This elixir will grant you an increased experience gain of 15%, which is a lot. The effect lasts for 60 minutes (1 hour), so it lasts a long time. I do recommend getting 2 to 3 elixirs if you plan on grinding a lot.

NOTE: If the elixir doesn’t appear in your shop, the Ultimate Edition includes the Survival Pack, which contains some of it. When you engage Mudtooth with any concoction in your inventory, he will offer more of them for sale. If you are on console and don’t have the Ultimate Edition or Survival Pack, obtaining Mudtooth elixirs might be challenging.

However, there’s an alternative method – you can trade with other players using NPCs as intermediaries, just like in Remnant 1. So, it’s possible to find someone who possesses an elixir, convince them to sell it to a vendor, and then purchase it, prompting Mudtooth to sell the elixirs to you as well. You can also try talking to him asking for stories and keep repeating until he run out of them.

This is completely optional, but it will also help in grinding faster, but make sure you max out the Scholar trait in the Traits tab in the menu. The max level, which is 10, also grants another 15% increase to experience gain. Combining both the max Scholar trait and the Mudtooth’s Elixir, you will get a total of 30% for increased experience gain.

Now that we have our XP bonuses, we then go to The Great Bole, which is in Yaesha.

When you spawn in The Great Bole, immediately turn around and keep going. You should find a path that leads to a set of stairs to the left, which is where you stop. But, your main goal is the area that continues forward.

Here, set up a turret or anything that will help out in dealing damage to the two elite enemies that are around the corner.

Approach the corner and once the elite enemies appear, start shooting and backing up until you reach the turret. Together with you and the turret, you will be able to defeat the two elites quickly.

After killing the two elites at the bottom, go up the stairs and spawn another turret to kill the elite that’s in a room at the top of the stairs.

Lastly, there is another elite enemy in near the shallow water. Place another turret and shoot from afar until it aggros on you. Then, wait for it to approach you and then watch it die as it gets close to you and your turret. Each elite enemy will grant you 400 XP, so if you kill these three enemies here and then go back and repeat the process, you will get 1600 XP every run, which is a lot. Not to mention about 2 to 3 Lumenite Crystals per run.
