There are lots of kinds of Mutators that you can get in Remnant 2. Every single one has their own unique buff or effect which can really boost your character by a notch. With that said, it’s pretty acceptable for these Mutators to not grow on trees. You’ll need to do a bit of work to get them, and a lot to complete them even. In this guide, I will show you how you can easily get the Steadfast Mutator in the game.
How to Get Steadfast Mutator Guide
Basically, you’ll need to defeat a mini boss called The Executioner, which can be found in different places in Losomn: which can be on The Great Hall, Shattered Gallery or in the Gilded Chambers. You’ll need to find a map that has a room with charred worshipers. The miniboss will drop the Steadfast Mutator as a loot.
If you want a specific walkthrough, read further into the guide.
The mentioned “map that has a room with charred worshipers” must look like this in the minimap. Go to this location.
After arriving at the location, proceed to the right side of the room.
Look for this painting, destroy it and go through the crawlspace, then jump down to the surface.
After landing, go left and destroy the statues blocking the way.
Then, go straight and jump down to the lower levels. Here is where you can find The Executioner mini boss.
After finding the mini boss, you’ll have to defeat it. In order to beat it, I’ll provide a bit of information you can use:
- It has a simple melee attack sequence and groundpound move that you can easily get used to. Make sure to dodge them as much as you can.
- Avoid the water parts in the area, it will slow you down and make it more difficult for you to kite away from the boss.
- It only has a couple affixes, which includes “Displacer”. If this is the case for you, make sure to not waste effort running away since it can just teleport you back to its location.
After executing the supposedly, “Executioner”, you’ll get the Steadfast Mutator as a drop/loot.
For its effects, it makes your Charged Melee Attacks uninterruptable, and you gain 10% damage reduction from all sources. Also, at Level 10, all damage taken during a Charged Melee Attack is converted to Grey Health.
It’s pretty much straightforward, it will come in handy if you like charging your Melee Attacks.
That sums it up on how to get the Steadfast Mutator in Remnant 2. If you have questions or concerns, feel free to leave them in the comments section below. We’d love to hear your thoughts.
