Guns and equipment aren’t the only things in Remnant 2 that require some sort of task to get. There are also Traits, which are passive abilities that give your character complimentary buffs and bonuses. Unlike other games, you don’t get all of them through leveling up. Some traits have their own gimmick related to its name in order to get it. If you’re interested or having a hard time getting a certain Trait in the game, you’ve come to the right place. Here’s how to unlock all the 32 Traits in Remnant 2.

How to Unlock All Traits | 32 Trait Locations

Before we get into each individual Trait, take note that some of the Traits are locked into a certain Archetype Trait until it’s leveled up to 10. Moreover, some of the traits are only acquirable through Co-op, while some will need you to some specific tasks. With that said, there will be 3 Trait Categories: Core, Archetype and Unlockable. Let’s get right into it!

If you’re only looking for a specific Trait, make sure to use this table to easily navigate through the guide:

Core Traits

These are traits that you get right after the game Tutorial. Here are their individual effects:

  • Endurance — increases your Max Stamina by 3 per level.
  • Expertise — reduces your skill cooldowns by 3% per level.
  • Spirit — increases Mod Power Generation by 2% per level.
  • Vigor — increases Max Health by 3 per level.

If you like fighting in close quarters, then you’ll definitely like Vigor and Endurance. While you’ll like Expertise and Spirit if you want to use and prefer Mods.

Though, it will become available for other classes as well after getting the certain Archetype Trait to Level 10. Moreover, Archetype Traits do not necessitate the use of trait points for leveling up; instead, they automatically mirror your character’s level, granting you the flexibility to allocate points to other attributes.
