You know what I absolutely adored about Roblox? The fact that it’s the best platform for anime games on the market. Sure, you can wait for the next AAA title of your favorite series — or you can head over to Roblox where you’ve got a ton of games to choose from.
As if that wasn’t enough, these games aren’t pushovers. For example, those who love the Avatar cartoon are doing themselves a disservice if they aren’t trying out RoBending Online. Speaking of, I’m here to help players figure out how to get Flying Bison in the game!
Of course, I don’t really have to explain the importance of the Flying Bison to Avatar fans. It’s basically Appa from the original series, and if you’re interested in getting your own Flying Bison, I’ll guide you through it!
How To Get Flying Bison
A quick disclaimer before we continue: all of this information is pretty new. At least, at the time of writing this. The update just came out, which means you likely won’t find this information in the wiki.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the RoBending Online wiki had little to no information on the Flying Bison. On a side note, we do have a guide on how to get all the scrolls in the game if you’re interested!
So, I’m going to show you one of the simplest ways to get your hands on a Flying Bison. Before that, however, I’m also going to share one of the most important requirements.
You need to be an Air Bender if you’re going to get your hands on a Flying Bison.
Yup, you read that right — RoBending Online takes from the original show in that only the Air Benders can have a Flying Bison. Sure, other people can ride Appa like they did in the show, but this species has always belonged to the Air Nomads.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, here’s the simplest method to getting the Flying Bison. In the game’s menu, you’re going to want to click what looks to be a money pouch.
This will bring you to the Product Store, where you’re going to see the goofy face of a Flying Bison as one of the options. Mind you, the Flying Bison costs 1499 Robux.
While I’m not here to tell anyone what they should or shouldn’t be spending on, I need to have yet another disclaimer concerning anything that costs Robux within the platform. It’s always important to ask yourself whether you absolutely want to get the Flying Bison this way.
After all, Robux isn’t something that grows on trees. It’s a real currency, and one that you typically cannot grind on your own. With this precious resource that can be used in all games, you have to ask yourself whether such a purchase is worth it.
But what can I do if I don’t have the Robux to buy a Flying Bison?
In all honesty, most players haven’t gotten to the point where they can get their hands on a Flying Bison without Robux. That said, as of the moment there is a potential way you can get it outside of buying the Flying Bison with Robux. This path isn’t easy, and you’ll probably have to grind for a long time before you have a shot.
This method involves the Prodigy Raid, which is one of the Dungeons located in Fire Island.
SIDE NOTE: Why not have a look at the complete guide to non-elemental class?
How do I get to the Fire Island?
If you want to get to Fire Island, the simplest method is to reach level 60. Once you’ve reached that specific level, the island will appear on your compass. It won’t stay there for too long, but once you’ve gone past level 60, the island will stay on the tracker permanently.
As far as heading to Fire Island goes, the easiest method is to buy yourself a ship. Harmony City is the first area of the game, and it can be pretty large, but the item shop should be one of the first things you see. It’s also a part of the game’s quest line, so by the time you’re level 60, the item shop is a common sight.
After this, it’s a simple matter of buying the ship you need.
The reason why I recommend using the ship is because Fire Island is extremely far away. It’s possible to just follow the tracker and dash to your destination, but I wouldn’t recommend it. When you’re on the ship you’re already extremely fast, but even that takes around ten minutes to take you to the island.
Yeah, this game’s pretty huge isn’t it? Also, I know I’m not an Air Bender in this image, but it’s not like I knew to use an Air Bender beforehand, so I was just in the dark as you when they finally added the Flying Bison to the game.
What is the Prodigy Mission?
The Prodigy Mission is one of the Dungeons or Raids in the game, and it’s located at the Temple near the back of the island. It’s the only Temple there, so it’s pretty easy to find. The thing is, the Prodigy Mission is not an easy quest to finish. With this, you’ll want to learn how to level up fast.
As a matter of fact, it’s something that can be played by up to 8 players. It gives out incredible rewards, and as of the moment, it has a 1% chance of dropping the Sacred Whistle Legendary Item.
This is the item you use to summon your Flying Bison mount. As far as I know, players are still trying to get their hands on the Flying Bison. I haven’t heard of a player snagging it through the raid, but chances are someone’s already gotten it.
This is also the reason why I’m not really encouraging the player to push through with this, and instead try to go through it at their own pace. The Flying Bison is incredible, but the rarity outside of Robux makes it… tricky. Is it even worth it? I’ll tell you what is though — the Fire Breathing scroll!
Is it worth getting the Flying Bison?
Honestly, the Flying Bison is pretty cool. It allows you to fly at incredible speeds, and it pretty much lets you go wherever you want. You won’t really need a ship or anything if you have a Flying Bison, because it can take you anywhere. Also trust me, you’re going to need this complete guide on the Temples Update in the game.
That said, RoBending Online is the kind of game that you don’t necessarily have to get something like the Flying Bison to make it fun. The fact that you need to be an Air Bender is already a debilitating requirement, so I honestly don’t recommend it.
Of course, if you have the Robux and you think it’s worth a purchase, be my guest. All I’m saying is that you should spend responsibly, which means you’re 100% committed to making your purchase. If you managed to get the Flying Bison, then I just have one request: have fun!
Oh also, while you’re here: You’re also going to want to look at this guide on all the locations within the game (as well as the missions)!
