Robin Hood – Sherwood Builders is out, and players have been having quite a bit of fun with it so far! I’m not going to lie; it’s been a blast playing as everyone’s favorite outlaw with a heart of gold. Of course, the fact that this is an action-adventure RPG with building and crafting elements is the whipped cream on top of this gaming sundae. That being said, let’s learn how to make Bows & Arrows in the game, shall we?
How To Make Bows & Arrows
I mean come on, it’s a game about Robin of Loxley! You can’t play as good ol’ Robin Hood if you don’t know how to make Bows & Arrows.
The good news is that the game has made it as easy as possible for you to get started on Robin Hood’s iconic weapon. You’ll need two types of materials to get the job done. First off:
Getting Pine
An extremely easy resource to get, as all you have to do to get pine is to head to forested areas and chop some wood. Fortunately for you, Robin’s quite the woodcutter. If you’re in need of extra guidance, you’ll find Pine in both Sherwood Forest and Barnsdale.
Getting Bowstring
While you won’t be finding this material lying around, it’s a pretty easy resource to find all the same. All you have to do is speak to the trader in Robin’s Village — he’ll have it in stock for you. Can you imagine a village belonging to Robin of Loxley that doesn’t stock up on bowstring? The shame of it!
Crafting the Bows & Arrows
Now, to make the Bow you’ll need:
- Pine x10
- Bowstring x1
To make Wooden Arrow x5, you’ll need:
- Pine x5
It’s quite simple, isn’t it? I suppose it should be, given the fact that the game lets you play as Robin Hood. It would be mighty strange if they made you work far too hard to get what’s pretty much the bread and butter of Robin Hood’s story.
You also don’t really have to do much to get started with crafting. All you need to do is get to the equipment screen and craft what you need. The devs certainly made it easy for players to get the hang of how things work in Sherwood, that’s for sure.
Of course, you’ll have to learn where to find other crucial materials and resources in the game. Don’t worry though, we’ve got you covered with this guide on where you can get your hands on Limestones!
When do I get to craft this weapon in the game?
If you’re wondering when you can get started with crafting this iconic missile weapon, it’s during one of the first quests, called An Outlaw’s Best Friend. You see? Even the game itself knows that Robin Hood is practically naked without his trusty Bow.
This is why I prefer going with the Path of the Arrow when I have a look at the Skill Tree. Speaking of, I also have a Complete Skill Tree Guide & Overview in this game, so be sure to have a look when you can!
Oh also, while you’re here, we have a guide on solving the Stone Circle puzzles in Sherwood Builders. Interested?
