If you’re new to Rogueblox, this beginner’s guide will walk you through everything you need to know about getting started, from your first trinket run to unlocking your Super Class. With so many paths to follow and areas to explore, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, especially if you’re not sure what comes next. This guide lays out a smooth progression route that you can follow all the way to your first Super Class. Let’s dive right in.

Starting Out: Trinket Farming 101

Once you spawn into the world, your first order of business should be trinket farming. You’ll need silver, fast. Running around the starter area collecting trinkets is the easiest way to get it.

Trinket farming in Rogueblox

Just follow the natural path around the spawn zone and check out areas behind buildings, inside structures, and near NPCs. If there’s nothing there, don’t worry! Someone might’ve done a trinket run before you. Trinkets respawn relatively quickly, so just keep moving and circling around. Eventually, you’ll walk out of the area with a solid haul.

Once you’ve collected a good number of trinkets, head to the vendor and sell in bulk. You can choose to sell ore or gems. Within minutes, you should have enough silver to buy your first weapon, like a sword or dagger, from the nearby shop.

Optional But Smart: Starter Quests

Before you start looking for your Base Class, it’s a good idea to do 1–5 starter quests. One of the best is Support Graveyard, which sends you off to defeat waves of zombies and gives you a chest reward at the end. From these chests, you’ll start collecting something extremely valuable: Codexes.

Codexes can drop from multiple enemy types, but zombies tend to drop them the most. You’ll need these to progress your alignment (Orderly or Chaotic) and eventually unlock your Super Class.

Understanding Codices and Alignment

Types of Codices in Rogueblox Beginner's Guide

Codices give you the choice of redeeming them for:

  • Order
  • Chaos
  • Silver
  • EXP

Avoid using them for EXP or silver in the meantime. You’ll get plenty of both from farming quests and mobs. Instead, focus on Order or Chaos points, depending on the Super Class you’re aiming for.

You can only start aligning your character after you’ve gotten your Base Class. Once you’ve turned in enough Codexes for alignment, your class status in your notebook will show [Super] next to the class name, signaling you’re ready to advance.

Getting a Base Class

Your next goal is to choose and unlock your Base Class. You’ll need:

  • EXP
  • Silver (usually 40 per skill)
  • At least 5 quests done (recommended)

Some common Base Class trainers include:

  • Leon – Swordsman
  • Tai – Warrior
  • Vincent – Spearman
  • Cap’n J. Grayver -Gunman
  • Halla – Bard
  • Kevin – Thief
  • Heather – Alchemist

Where to Get Your Weapon

Spears can be bought near Spartacus, the Spear Super Class trainer located by Leon.

Guns location in Rogueblox Beginner's Guide

Guns can be purchased in the Metssilvan Barrens, where you’ll find Cap’n J. Grayver.

And finally, swords and Daggers are available from the starting town’s shop.

Unlocking Super Classes

Once your alignment and EXP are ready, it’s time to seek out your Super Class trainer. These trainers are scattered around the world, with many of the important ones hidden in the Tundra.

Getting Into the Tundra

To access the tundra, talk to Riyu, who guards the gate. He’ll ask you for three Lurker Hands, which you can farm from zombies. Once handed over, the gate opens and you’re in.

If you’re a Novakid, you’re immune to freezing and heat damage, making Tundra and Volcano zones a breeze. Non-Novakids will need to move quickly or find heat sources like campfires to survive.

Super Class Locations

  • Spartacus: Same area as Leon (Swordsman Base Class trainer).
  • Liliana: Inside a radio shack in the Tundra.
  • Johnny: Found deep in the Tundra.
  • Sullivan is the trainer and is located in Trading City outside the Tundra.

Once you talk to the trainer and meet the EXP/alignment requirements, you’ll get your Super Class.

Restoring Lost Lives

Died too much? Don’t worry. You can restore lives in two key ways:

  1. Life Crystals – Farm Life Shards in the Hollow Cave (in the Tundra, near where meteors drop). Four shards = one crystal.

If you want to know more, check out my guide on the fastest way to obtain Life Crystals in Rogueblox!
  2. Promoting to Super or Ultra Classes – You automatically regain a life each time.

Take your Life Shards to the blacksmith in the starting town to craft a Life Crystal and restore a life.

Enchanting Weapons

To enchant a weapon:

  • Visit the blacksmith.
  • Choose the “Can you enchant my weapon?” option for 850 silver.
  • Provide an elemental crystal (Ruby, Emerald, Opal, Diamond, etc.)

This wraps up the essentials for beginners looking to reach their Super Class and beyond in Rogueblox! We covered trinket farming, unlocking base and Super Classes, managing alignment, exploring dangerous zones like the Tundra, and enhancing your gear through enchantments and Life Crystals.

Just remember:

  • Get silver early.
  • Do your starter quests.
  • Farm Codexes.
  • Stay alive in the Tundra (especially if you’re not a Novakid).
  • Use your notebook to track NPCs and stay organized.

With this foundation, you’re more than ready to carve your own path in the harsh but exciting world of Rogueblox. Just remember to stay patient and be sure to do some research before spending your energy and resources.
