Starfall Days are blessed days in Rune Factory 5. During these days, you can see the famed Starfall, where stars in the sky fall from, well, the sky. Quite literally. Because once Starfall Day is done and you journey out to get some resources or simply level up by slaying monsters, you will see large rock structures that you swore were never there before. What are they? What does it do? In this guide, we’ll show you what these mysterious structures are.
Starfall Guide | Meteor Locations & More – Rune Factory 5
Starfall Days are very rare. So rare in fact that it happens randomly throughout your playthrough. Before doing anything during and after Starfall Days, you will want to save your file on a different save slot. This is so you can go back and do it again if you feel like you’re not getting good enough RNG on items and such.
First off, Black Griffins are very rare and spawn near the Thundering Wastes: Entrance at the Phoros Wastelands. These Griffins only spawn during Starfall Days. The reason why you need to get them is that stealing items from Black Griffins gets you a Mealy Apple.
If you don’t get a Mealy Apple, just start over and load the save again. Once you do get a Mealy Apple, go save and run back to the Black Griffin. This is so that you can steal more and repeat the process until you have enough.
Once you have all of the Mealy Apples you want and are ready to end Starfall Day, go to your home and sleep. Waking up the next day after Starfall Day, you will have to save your game before finding Meteors that landed in random areas to mine them for the precious resources.
Search these areas marked on the map to find the Meteors. Not all of them will have Meteors, so you will have to find where the Meteors are before you do any farming. Take note of where the Meteors are and start over again and load the save you have just after waking up.
There are only 3 Meteors after Starfall day, so go to the one that’s easiest to mine. After mining the Meteor, save your game and restart the game to do it again, same as with farming Mealy Apples. Repeat the process until you run out of time or when you have enough.
