Runescape 3: Murder on the Border 2023 Quest Guide | Tier 3 Kitchen – Ironman Friendly

Runescape is one of the classic MMORPGs out there that probably has most of the memorable quests in the genre. Almost all of the quests in the game involve some of the funniest and goofiest things the game has to offer while others can be fun and even thrilling to do.

There are a lot of quests in Runescape 3 and most of them can be confusing for people who’re doing it for the first time. In this guide we’ll show you how to do the Murder on the Border quest in Runescape 3, so get ready because this is a long quest!

Tier 3 Kitchen – Ironman Friendly | Runescape 3: Murder on the Border 2023 Quest Guide

The quest Murder on the Border is one of the longer quests in the game, luckily the quest also happens just in one place so there’s not a lot of walking involved.

If you like following the stories in this game then this quest can be one of the more interesting ones out there, but first, we’ll need to talk about requirements and the things you need to do this quest!

Requirements:

• New Foundations Quest Completed
• Level 30 Construction
• All Tier 1 Fort Forinthry buildings constructed: Town Hall, Command Centre, Workshop, Chapel

Items Needed:

• 6 Oak Frame
• 6 Stone Wall Segment
• A Weapon

Now, here are the Steps needed to do the quest:

1. Go to Fort Forinthry and talk to Aster to get the Quest.
2. Build the Kitchen Tier 1 (Oak Frames and Stone Walls needed)
3. Speak to Aster once the kitchen is done.

4. Go to the courtyard and select the circle and pick yes to continue the quest.
5. After some dialogue go back to the town hall and talk to the Duke, Simon, and the King or Queen who are upstairs.
6. Go downstairs and talk to Aster to start the feast.
7. Choose the first option all the time to continue the cutscene until the Duke dies. Then select option 1 again to lock down the fort.
8. After the cutscene, talk to Aster and choose option 1.

6. Get the Nut Roast in the kitchen.

7. Find the Half buried box next to the chapel.

8. Find the Strange Sachel west of the town hall.

9. Go to the Kitchen and search the Supply cupboard, and select “Take Hollyhock.”
10. Go to the command centre and talk to Duchess Alba and expand all the dialogue options. Then link the Nut Roast to this NPC.

11. Talk to the Bianca NPC near the chapel and use up all the dialogue options. Then link her to the Jewelry Box.
12. Talk to the Simon NPC near the entrance to the town hall and expand all the dialogue options. Then link the “How to Poison Dummies for Dummies” book to him.
13. Go back to the Strange Satchel, interact with it, and get a Vial of Water.
14. Mix the Vial of Water with the Hollyhock.
15. Cook a Poison Detection Potion (Hollyhock) in the cooking range in the kitchen.

16. Use the potion on the Duke’s meal and select the second option to use it on the Duke’s Meat Pate.
17. Talk to all the NPCs and then finally to King Roald inside the chapel.
18. At this point you should have all the clues, Aster will talk to you and say to talk on top of the Town Hall on the roof.

19.  An Assassin will attack you two and you’ll need to defeat the Assassin.
20. Search the Assassin and read the letter you find about him.
21. Go to the Courtyard and talk to any NPC there and select the first option.

22. Investigate the Burnt Parchment in the town hall next to the fireplace.
23. In the middle of the Chapel and Kitchen is a wax seal you need to interact with.
24. Go to the Workshop and speak to Iris and select all the dialogue options, then link her to the Wax Seal. You will get the Amulet of Spanielspeak.
25. Near the workshop talk to the dog and link the Amulet of Spanielspeak to the dog.

26. Click the dog to find three points of interest. The third one will give you your next clue.
27. Go to the Command Centre and talk to Duchess Alba and Select the options 1-1-2-2 to get the next clue.
28. Talk to all the NPCs to get the next clue, for this run I talked to the Queen NPC.
29. Go near the workshop and link the Scorched Will to the Rodney NPC.
30. Select the 1^st option with Aster “Yes, I’m Ready.”
31. Go back to the courtyard and talk to the King. Then select Option 5 which is Bianca Dunnet to select the murderer.
32. Select “End the Banquet” when talking to the King.
33. Talk to Aster and select Options 1 and then 1.
34. Go to the Kitchen and speak to Rodney and select option 1 and then 1 to complete the quest!
