Scrooge McDuck is a good business man. He sees us working on rebuilding the Valley to restore it to its original glory, and he charges us to do anything related to that. He is a greedy little duck, of course. But you can’t deny that he isn’t making the most out of the situation. With that said, you can even upgrade his shop to get more items. Disney Dreamlight Valley – Scrooge McDuck Fully Upgraded Shop | Is It Worth It?
The first upgrade for Scrooge’s shop is 10 thousand gold, which is already a lot of gold to invest in the shop. The second upgrade however will make your heart stop, because it is 25 thousand gold. That’s right, you need a total of 35 thousand gold in order to fully upgrade Scrooge’s shop, just to buy more items.
When entering the shop, you will see that there are more sections in the area, which means more items you can purchase. On the second floor, you have more items to purchase, with a large area for display in the middle for premium items. On the right and left side of the second floor features more items for you to buy, and the first floor has items displayed near the windows that you can purchase too.
Overall, you can get some nice items and furniture that you can use to decorate, but is it really worth 35 thousand gold? Personally, it’s not. You can use that 35 thousand gold for more important things like inventory and other upgrades. Scrooge’s shop, while filled with premium items once fully upgraded, is more fitting for when you reach the endgame, where you can decorate to your hearts content.
