SCUM allows you to loot and defeat your enemies. But where can you safely store this loot? The Storage system in SCUM is one of the most important aspects you want to learn in the game. This guide will show you everything you need to know about the storage system in SCUM.
Storage Guide – SCUM
There are multiple storage options for SCUM, and each storage option has its own capacity and material requirements. Starting off with chests, the Wooden Chest is a 30×20 chest with a 500kg maximum weight and all types of chests can store all items.
For the Improved Wooden Chest, you need Medium engineering skills to craft it. It is a 45×20 chest with a 500kg maximum weight. Lastly, the Improvised Metal chest is a 75×20 chest with a 500kg maximum weight. You need advanced engineering to craft this chest.
An Improvised Wardrobe is a storage option that is 95×20 and has a 1000kg Maximum weight. You need basic engineering to craft this chest and you cannot store any logs. For the Storage Shelf, it is 95×20 and has a 1000kg maximum weight capacity.
You can also build log sheds. A small log shed can store 15 logs or 12 tree branches that are placed vertically. The large log shed can store 30 logs or 24 tree branches. Aside from log sheds, you can also build weapon racks.
A weapon rack can store 5 weapons, but you can only put 2 racks per flag zone. You can also build wall weapon racks, which can store 2 weapons per rack. You can build 5 of these racks per zone but you cannot lock them unlike the other storage options.
All of the storage options, except for the last weapon rack are lockable. All chests can be moved as well.
