There are some games where the main gameplay loop is to look for secrets. It can be fun, but sometimes, these secrets are just too hard to get! If you’re stuck on getting one of those secrets, that’s when you fall back to guides!
In Secret Staycation, there are a lot of things you can find in the game. Some of them are easy to get while others need more effort from the player! In this guide, we’ll show you how to get the Mameko in the game. We’ll go through what you’ll need to do and where to go. Now, let’s find this item in the game!
How To Get Mameko Location
There are some interesting and difficult-to-get collectibles in Secret Staycation and one of them is the Mameko. Unlike other collectibles where you just go to the location and get it, this one needs you to do a little minigame. Here is how you can get this one!

Here are the steps that we’ll be taking to get the Mameko:
- Go down the spawn and head to the hallway.
- Go to the very end of the hallway and then left to the bathroom.
- Jump into the toilet and get flushed.
- Use the Rope to drag the kids to the mother.
- Bait the mother to jump on the kid.
- Repeat until all the kids are in the mother.
- Get the Mameko!

Detailed Walkthrough
To start, you’ll want to go down the spawn area and then head to the hallway as shown below. Make sure to use a character that can dodge! You’ll need it to get the Mameko.
Once you’re in the hallway, go to the very end until you reach the area shown below. Go to the door to the left and onto the bathroom.
You’ll then see the toilet bowl and a few things stacked in front of it. Use the platforms in front of it to get on top of the toilet bowl and jump inside of it to get flushed down.
Once you’re flushed down the toilet, you’ll spawn in another hallway with 3 kids sleeping on baskets. Following that, you’ll reach a large room where a ‘boss fight’ happens. You’ll need to use the Taking Rope on the kids sleeping and drag them onto the boss.
Then, you’ll need to bait the boss by making it slam down onto the kid. If you time it right, you won’t get damaged, and the kid will be taken by the boss. Do this a total of 3 times for all the kids to continue.
After the last kid is returned to the boss, you’ll then get the Mameko in the game!
