A new game is out and its Slime Rancher 2, one of the cutest games ever made. When it released, thousands of players flocked to the game and drowned it with positive reviews. Right now, the game is sitting at an Overwhelmingly Positive overall score and for good reason. The game offers players new mechanics, a whole new island to explore and more importantly, new slimes to collect. Not only slimes, but all around the island are different resources that you can gather, sell or use. In this Resource Harvester guide we’ll show you where to gather these resources all around the island.
Resource Harvester Guide For Slime Rancher 2
There are multiple resources in Slime Rancher 2 that you can collect. Some of these resources you can grow on your own, but some of them can only be found around the island. You can use these for upgrades, sell them, and some of them can be used to feed some of the slimes. Here’s a list of all of the resources in the game so far, since it’s still in early access there may be more in the future.
Deep Brine
First on the list is Deep Brine, which can be found near the sea in Rainbow Fields. They look like water that’s leaking out of the ground.
Jelly Stone
Next resource is also found in the Rainbow Fields and it’s the Jelly Stone, these things look like large smooth purple balls growing out of stone.
Strange Diamond
The next resource is Strange Diamond and it can be found around Starlight Strand which look like mineral clusters coming out of the stone.
Lava Dust
Lava Dust can be found in Ember Valley and they look like black tar coming out of the ground.
Silky Sand
Also in Starlight strand is Silky Sand, which looks like a mud version of the Deep Brine and Lava Dust nodes.
Wild Honey
Staying in Starlight Strands you should keep an eye on the trees since they can have Wild Honey. Look for beehives with bright yellow goo coming out of it.
Buzz Wax
If the goo coming out of the beehive is brown then it’s Buzz Wax.
Moondew Nectar
In Starlight Strand you can also find Moondew Nectar, one of the few things you can’t grow yourself.
They come out of those flowers pictured above.
Radiant Ore
Radiant Ore can be found in both Ember Valley and Starlight Strand and look like the strange diamond but with more cube-shaped minerals coming out of it.
Pomegranate
In Ember Valley you can also find Pomegranate which is a fruit that some slimes love.
Primordy Oil
Lastly is Primordy Oil which can be found in oil pools around Ember Valley.
