After you have completed all of your objectives in Sons of the Forest, it’s time for you to leave the island. However, doing this isn’t easy since there are many dangerous Mutants stopping you from escaping. At the end, there is also a Final Boss that you need to defeat.
This is why you’ll want to have all of the preparations required to make it out alive. To win against all of the monsters, you must equip yourself with the right items and move in the right directions. In this guide, we’ll provide you with a walkthrough of the final parts of the game in Update 1.0.
Final Boss & Ending Guide
To defeat the Final Boss, you will need to arrive at the Bunker found at the middle right area of the map. Once you’ve entered it, you’ll want to search for the Golden Plating Armor Blueprint.
After that, you’ll need to charge it using Solaphite Ores. As it charges, there are many different Mutant enemies that you’ll need to defend against.
Once you have the Armor, you can now enter the Cave and defeat the Mini Boss. Then, you’ll continue to defeat the Final Boss and unlock the game’s Endings.
Bunker Location
First, head towards the middle right area of the map. There, you will be able to find the Bunker Entrance, which is where you will be completing the rest of the game’s content.
In the image down below, you will be able to see the appearance of the Bunker. Next, head inside the Bunker and go to the very end by following the path.
Keep going along the path until you arrive at the room in the image down below. Then, head towards the direction we’ve drawn for you in the image down below.
Once you’ve arrived at the next room, turn left, then turn right. Inside the bathroom, you will be able to find a huge crack that you can go through. Keep following it and you will reach the end of the Bunker.
At the end of the Bunker, you will be able to listen to a conversation. Nearby, you will be able to see a skeleton with the Armor Plating Blueprint.
Next, head outside and start creating the Armor Plating with the Blueprint you’ve just obtained.
Getting The Ancient Golden Armor
After you’ve placed down the Armor Plater, put in the Golden Armor. You’ll also want to fill it up with 12 Solafite Ores. While you wait for it to charge, be aware of your surroundings.
There will be many mutants in the area, so watch out! Hordes of enemies will come so make sure you have enough ammo and weapons prepared beforehand.
Once you have defeated all of them, you will be able to collect the Ancient Armor without worrying about any other potential threats.
After that, you will want to go back to the Bunker and equip the armor. You will now be able to interact with it to open the door.
Fighting The Mini Boss
When the door is opened, you can now head inside. However, you’ll want to walk slowly and pay attention to your surroundings. You can use a cross to burn any Mutants that you see in the way.
As you go deeper into the cave, you will now be aproaching the Mini Boss. This is a boss that you can defeat as long as you have decent Firearms to protect yourself.
Keep in mind that you’ll want to always maintain a safe distance from it to prevent yourself from taking damage. However, keep it mind that it can perform a jump attack on top of you to close the gap.
If you get hit, you will be stunned for a short duration. You can just get up and run away from it very easily, so you should be fine!
Defeating The Final Boss
After you’ve defeated the Mini Boss, you can now go outside. As you go outside, pay attention to your surroundings since there will be many explosives you can collect for the final boss fight.
Once you’re out, a cutscene will start and you will now be fighting the Final Boss. This is when you’ll want to use all the bombs and explosives that you have collected on it. With a couple of bombs thrown at it, you should be able to defeat it easily.
After defeating the Final Boss, you can choose to leave the island, or to stay on top of it.
