Sons of the Forest 1.0 – How To Open Golden Doors

After you have completed all of your objectives in Sons of the Forest, it’s time for you to leave the island. To do this, you must gain access to the Golden Doors. This is a door that can only be unlocked if you are wearing the right type of armor.

However, getting the Armor isn’t easy since there are many dangerous Mutants that will approach the armor when it is charging. Before you start opening the Golden Doors, make sure you prepare yourselves with all the gear, weapons, and armor to protect yourself against them in Update 1.0.

How To Open Golden Doors

To open Golden Doors, you will need to arrive at the Bunker found in the middle right area of the map. Once you’ve entered it, you’ll want to search for the Golden Plating Armor Blueprint.

After that, you’ll need to place down the armor outside and charge it using Solaphite Ores. As it charges, there are many different Mutant enemies that you’ll need to defend against.

Once you have the Armor, you can now enter the Cave and defeat the Mini-Boss. Then, you’ll continue to defeat the Final Boss and unlock the game’s final Endings.

Luxury Bunker Location

First, head towards the middle right area of the map. There, you will be able to find the Luxury Bunker Entrance. This is where you will be able to find the Blueprint for the Ancient Golden Armor.

In the image down below, you will be able to see how the Luxury Bunker looks. Next, head inside the Bunker and go to the very end by following the path.

Keep going along the path until you arrive at the room in the image down below. Then, head toward the direction we’ve drawn for you in the. Continue going until you reach the next room.

Once you’ve arrived at the next room, turn left, then turn right. Inside the bathroom, you will be able to find a huge crack that you can go through. Next, enter it and you will reach the end of the Bunker.

At the end of the Bunker, you will be able to listen to a conversation. Nearby, you will be able to see a skeleton with the Armor Plating Blueprint next to Timmy.

Next, head outside and start creating the Armor Plating with the Blueprint you’ve just obtained.

Getting The Ancient Golden Armor

Now that you are outside, you will want to place down the Armor Plater and put in the Golden Armor. Next, fill it up with 12 Solafite Ores. While you wait for the Armor to charge, pay attention to your surroundings since Mutants will be attracted to your area and attack you.

There will be hordes of enemies that come to attack you, so make sure you are prepared. Having enough weapons, ammo and a good armor set will help you make it out alive. Once you’ve defeated all the enemies, you can collect the Ancient Golden Armor, which you can use to open the Doors.

Opening The Golden Doors

After that, go all the way back to the Luxury Bunker and equip the Armor. When you interact with the door, you will now be able to open it.

Once it opens, you will be able to head inside and complete the rest of the game’s content. There will be a Mini-Boss and a Final Boss that you must defeat before reaching the Endings.

As you go inside the Hell Cave, pay attention to your surroundings since there may be some Mutants nearby. Make sure you have the right items to deal with them.

That’s how you can open the Golden Doors in Sons of the Forest 1.0. The hardest part of this is fighting against hordes of Mutants that arrive when you are charging your armor. Make sure that you rotate your camera frequently so you spot any incoming enemies.
