Sons Of The Forest has been out for quite a while now and regardless of all the activities you can end up doing instead of prioritizing your primary objective, there’s still a wee bit of confusion when it comes to accessing the Admin Panel.

These things are never really explained that much, even in patch notes where you most likely expect them to be discussed, but that’s fine for now as the game is still in early access and has a few other issues that need to be prioritized.

So that leaves just the two of us to mess around with the console ourselves, yes it’s possible. Check out the guide to know more!

How To Access Admin Panel In Sons Of The Forest

Back in The Forest, you can get away with just typing in certain commands at the exact moment you see the main menu, everything beyond that point just relies on you having to know certain forest item IDs for them to work correctly.

In Sons Of The Forest, the approach will differ slightly, until the game gets developed further at least.

Most players have been resorting to third-party applications just to imitate the things that could be done back in the old forest, and it would be completely understandable if you have no desire whatsoever to use these applications in fear of the safety of your computer.

So instead of downloading those, launch your game instead and load a save you’re comfortable enough to mess with.

Next hit ‘Enter’ to bring up the chat window and type in the word “cheatstick” without any spaces in between and hit ‘F1’.

This can even work in multiplayer! However, anything that counts as a world command like spawning enemies or changing different elements in the game can only be done by the host, unless you’re given admin rights of course.

Now try it out for yourself, and remember to keep a backup of your save if things go awry!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
