Sorcery is a Jujutsu Kaisen inspired fighting game which was released just a couple of months ago on the Roblox platform. Since it is inspired by Jujutsu Kaisen, you will find various Cursed Techniques in the game which you can use in fights. Some of them are quite powerful. In this list, I’ll be ranking the various techniques based on their effectiveness, versatility, and overall power. So, you know which techniques are worth your time and which ones might not live up to the hype!
Best Cursed Technique Tier List
There are currently 11 Cursed Techniques that are available in the game. This Tier List is divided into 5 categories with S Tier being the best and D Tier being the worst. But this doesn’t mean that the Cursed Techniques placed in the D Tier are completely useless. All of the Cursed Techniques that are available in the game are good enough for PVP.
Note: This Tier List is by no means absolute. Different players will have different opinions. I tried to make this list as balanced as possible.
S Tier
- Dismantle and Cleave – Sukuna’s cursed technique is up next. He has the most moves in the entire game, which can be overwhelming for your hotbar, but it’s Sukuna—what else would you expect? Not all of his moves are outstanding, but the later ones are especially strong, with good damage and range. On top of that, his techniques come out fast. With the ability to spam moves and constantly stay on the offensive, Sukuna easily earns S tier.
- Limitless – AKA Gojo. This is an easy S tier, no question. All of Gojo’s moves have two variants, which gives him a lot of versatility. For example, the amplified and maximum versions of Blue and Red add some great mix-up potential. It’s one of the strongest techniques, no debate.
A Tier
- Disaster Flames – Jogo’s Disaster Flames technique is quite solid, featuring around four moves that are both powerful and reliable. Even though the moves can be somewhat predictable, they deal a significant amount of damage and have a decent range, making them difficult to deal with in combat. The technique does have some wind-up time, but overall, it’s well-balanced.
- Ratio – For Nanami’s technique, the combos you can pull off with it are what make it stand out. It has great combo extenders and moves that deal good damage are always valuable. It’s especially effective if you’re playing up close. However, I don’t think it’s worthy of S tier, even though some people rate it that highly. I’d put it in A tier.
- Genju Kohasaku – Now, Kashimo’s technique is very good. It’s fast, has a lot of range, and deals good damage. It’s definitely another A tier, even if not in any specific order.
- Blood Manipulation – Next, we have Blood Manipulation, which is actually pretty insane. The moves have great range, deal solid damage, and are very fast. It excels in both range and damage departments and even has around four moves. While it’s not the absolute best in the game, it’s still a strong contender for A tier.
- Mimicry – Yuta’s cursed technique allows you to steal other players’ techniques, and you can summon Rika to perform tandem attacks. If you’re fighting a skilled technique user, you can easily adapt and use their own abilities against them.
- Initially, I didn’t think Mimicry was that impressive, but upon reconsideration, I’d say it can be S tier when used correctly due to its flexibility and the fact that you can store multiple moves, making it potentially very broken.
B Tier
- Idle Transfiguration – Mahito is pretty straightforward, but in my opinion, it’s not that great. It has a ranged move, but most of its other abilities are close-range. Overall, I don’t find it impressive or particularly strong. Personally, I didn’t enjoy using it and switched off pretty quickly.
C Tier
- Cursed Speech – Now let’s talk about Inumaki’s cursed technique. To be blunt, it’s one of the worst techniques I’ve encountered. It only has three moves, and they’re all quite underwhelming and predictable. It doesn’t synergize well with other techniques, and no one really wants to use it. Sorry to the Inumaki fans out there, but I’m placing it at C tier.
D Tier
- Boogie Woogie – I don’t even need to explain this one—it’s self-explanatory.
- Projection Sorcery – According to the Trello, you need 75 agility for one of its moves, but either way, the technique itself is just bad. It has short range and little follow-up potential, making it D tier in my book.
As always, Sukuna & Gojo Reigns Supreme!
And that wraps up my tier list for the worst and best cursed techniques in Sorcery! Remember, these rankings are just my personal opinions based on my experience with each technique. While some may be stronger or easier to use, skill and strategy can make any technique viable if you put in the time to master it. So, whether you’re aiming for an S-tier powerhouse or just having fun with a technique you like, go for what suits your playstyle.
At the end of the day, the game is about having fun and improving, so don’t stress too much about the tier list—just focus on what works best for you.
