Like any RPG game, Soul Knight Prequel comes with its own unique bosses. These are enemies that appear on every 5th level of the dungeons that you can go to in the game. However, some bosses only spawn during specific times and areas.

It goes without saying that bosses are not the easiest enemies to defeat in this game. You will have to prepare for them and learn more about these enemies to find a way to defeat them.

Luckily for you, we have a guide that will allow you to learn where to find and how to beat the bosses in this game.

All Bosses Guide & How To Beat Them

Southern Steppes

  • Boar King
Soul Knight Prequel Boar King Boss

Spawn Time: 05:00 ā€“ 18:00

The Boar King is a one-on-one fight that is pretty much straightforward. It can summon a Cranky Boar as an underling, but the Boar King itself isnā€™t too much of a threat.

Warriors will find this an easy enemy to take on because of the straightforward approach to the fight. Simply hit the Boar King hard and avoid some of the hard-hitting attacks.

  • Grimhowl Gang
Soul Knight Prequel Grimhowl Gang Boss

Spawn Time: 18:00 ā€“ 06:00

The Grimhowl Gang is composed of the Grimhowl Gang Leader and a few underlings who shoot from afar using ranged weapons.

Make sure to focus on the Leader because he is the most dangerous one here. Pick the smaller enemies apart after defeating the Grimhowl Gang Leader.

Bulrush Marshes

  • Giant Swamp Conch
Soul Knight Prequel Giant Swamp Conch Boss

Spawn Time: 00:00 ā€“ 24:00

The Giant Swamp Conch can be a tanky enemy that moves and attacks slowly but can hit hard. Its most dangerous attack is the stream of water that it can release.

It is best for you to circle around it when it uses this attack. After that, go for a straightforward tactic of hitting it hard while running around the map to avoid some of its slower attacks.

Murkwood

  • Mandragora
Soul Knight Prequel Mandragora Boss

The Mandragora is one of the more challenging opponents during the earlier part of the game because of its AoE attacks that are difficult to dodge. Some characters would rather just tank its attacks, but they can still hit hard.

This boss can summon tentacle vines from the ground, so make sure to take those pesky things out before resuming your attack on the Mandragora. It is best to use an Archer or a Pyromancer here because they can attack from a distance while avoiding the Mandragoraā€™s attacks.

Brinewash Grotte

  • Medusa
Soul Knight Prequel Medusa Boss

The hardest part about the Medusa fight is its attacks are ranged and have a bit of a homing effect that allows them to roam around the map.

It would be best to approach her close so that you wonā€™t have to deal with the ranged attacks. Sheā€™s a fairly easy boss to defeat for most early-game players.

Crystal Mines

  • Giant Crystal Snapclaw
Soul Knight Prequel Giant Crystal Snapclaw Boss

The Giant Crystal Snapclaw is best approached using a character that can attack from afar. This boss has a powerful AoE attack that damages those who are close to it using rocks that spring from the ground.

Avoid that attack and then get close to it (if youā€™re a melee character) to unleash your own counterattack. If youā€™re using a ranged character, it is best to stay a good distance from it while attacking it.Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā

Halcyon Cemetery

  • Skeleton King
Soul Knight Prequel Skeleton King Boss

Spawn Time: 00:00 ā€“ 24:00

The Skeleton King is a fairly dangerous opponent due to its powerful close-range attacks. It can also release a strong attack that it launches whenever it steps back and then suddenly launches out of nowhere.

When you see it stepping back, get away from it and then launch a counterattack of your own. It can summon bone minions that arenā€™t too much of a problem.

Arid Sands

  • Colossal Sandworm
Soul Knight Prequel Colossal Sandworm Boss

Spawn Time: 05:00 ā€“ 18:00

The most important part about taking on the Colossal Sandworm is to get away from it whenever it disappears into the ground because it would unleash a powerful attack.

Due to its length, it can also reach ranged characters, and thatā€™s why it doesnā€™t matter if youā€™re using a melee or a ranged class. Itā€™s a fairly simple tactic of dodging and attacking.

Ruined Citadel

  • Archknight
Soul Knight Prequel Archknight Boss

Spawn Time: 06:00 ā€“ 18:00

The good thing about the Archknight is that it is a slow-moving target thatā€™s fairly easy to avoid. You may want to use an Archer here so that you can snipe it from a distance while avoiding its attacks.

It also has a powerful AoE attack that you should want to stay away from, thatā€™s why using a ranged character should be a good way to defeat it.

  • Archwizard
Soul Knight Prequel Archwizard Boss

Spawn Time: 20:00 ā€“ 06:00

Like most wizard-type enemies, the Archwizard focuses on ranged magical attacks that can be deadly to other ranged classes.

You may want to attack it at a close distance because most of its attacks donā€™t bother melee attackers as much as ranged attackers. When you see it releasing plenty of balls of magic, stay away from it and resume your attack once the coast is clear.

Geolithic Hills

  • Triumvirate Megaliths
Soul Knight Prequel Triumvirate Megaliths Boss

Spawn Time: 00:00 ā€“ 24:00

The most challenging part about the Triumvirate Megaliths is that there are multiple enemies that are going to be attacking you at the same time.

They donā€™t move fast or hit particularly hard, but they use different elements. It is best to take down one at a time, and that means focusing your party on only one target before moving on to the next one.

Forest of Tranquility

  • Goblin High Priest
Soul Knight Prequel Goblin High Priest Boss

Spawn Time: 00:00 ā€“ 24:00

The Goblin High Priest can be tough due to the Voidbeasts and the Vine Tentacles surrounding it. Some would rather take out its minions first, but you can split the duties by allowing your allies to focus on the smaller enemies before going for the boss.

On its own, it isnā€™t much of a threat. Thatā€™s why you may want to take out the minions first.

Searcrest Haven

  • Buccaneer Captain
Soul Knight Prequel Buccaneer Captain Boss

Spawn Time: 00:00 ā€“ 24:00

The toughest part about the Buccaneer Captain is that it has pirate underlings that can be quite annoying but are fairly easy to take out.

If you have AoE attacks, take the goons out before focusing on the big guy. This boss has a good combination of ranged and close-range attacks, so itā€™s best to study its movements after taking out the goons.

Scorching Volcano

  • Ember Dragon
Soul Knight Prequel Ember Dragon Boss

Spawn Time: 00:00 ā€“ 24:00

Watch out for the Ember Dragonā€™s ability to rain fire on the map because that can be hard to dodge. This boss focuses on controlling the map using its AoE attacks, so it might be best to use a hard-hitting melee character that can strike it whenever itā€™s done, releasing its barrage of fireballs.

It moves fairly slowly compared to the other bosses, and that means that even a Warrior can dodge its attacks. Make sure to destroy the Volcanic Rocks on the map as well.

Everfrost Peaks

  • Alpine Yeti Alpha
Soul Knight Prequel Alpine Yeti Alpha Boss

Spawn Time: 00:00 ā€“ 24:00

Slow-moving but hard-hitting, the Alpine Yeti Alpha focuses on frontal attacks that can be avoided if you circle around it or hit it from the sides.

It can buff itself and increase its size and attack, so you better stay your distance from it once you see it growing. Ranged classes might find this enemy easier than melee attackers. Stay away from it whenever you see rocks circling around it.

Ancient Ruins

  • Zulan the Colossus
Soul Knight Prequel Zulan the Colossus Boss

Spawn Time: 00:00 ā€“ 21:00

Zulan the Colossus is one tough boss due to the minions that it can summon to attack you. Take the smaller targets out before focusing your attack on this powerful boss. Melee attackers are best for this boss because most of its attacks focus on ranged classes.

Esoteria

  • C6H806
Soul Knight Prequel C6H8O6 Boss

Spawn Time: 00:00 ā€“ 24:00

As one of the first true challenges that you will face in this game, C6H806 is easier to approach using an Archer or a character that can move fast to avoid its attacks.

It unleashes missiles that can roam the map while it attacks using a powerful laser. Get as close to it as possible to avoid its ranged attacks and then unleash your own barrage of attacks. Circling around it when it uses its laser should be a good idea.

Tower of Aeonia

  • Varkolyn
Soul Knight Prequel Varkolyn Boss

Spawn Time: 00:00 ā€“ 24:00

Arguably the toughest out of all of the regular bosses due to the two phases of this fight, Varkolyn acts and moves like a normal character instead of a boss.

This enemy can release barrages of attacks that you should stay away from while it is chasing you. The best tactic to use here is the classic hit-and-run strategy that will allow you to keep your distance while damaging it.

  • Void Varkolyn
Soul Knight Prequel Void Varkolyn Boss

Spawn Time: 00:00 ā€“ 24:00

Void Varkolyn is the second phase of your fight with Varkolyn, who may have been a bit easy to defeat. This boss is bigger and tougher than the first phase of the fight, and thatā€™s why you should be at your best.

If you see the map darkening, run away because it will release a powerful laser attack thatā€™s going to be able to hit a huge area of the map.

It can summon Void Tentacles and attack the area using a wide variety of different AoE moves, and thatā€™s why you have to pick your spots and begin dissecting the boss from there until you beat it.
