Merlin Puzzles will have you scratching your head no matter where you find them on the map. They are a very good insight into the lore and background of Hogwarts wizards as well as being a very good source for rewards and loot.

In this guide, we shall show you all the Trial Puzzles and their Solutions in the South Sea Bog. Let’s get started.

Hogwarts Legacy – South Sea Bog Merlin Trial Puzzle Solutions

South Sea Bog Merlin Trial Puzzle 1

You shall need to head to the center of the map and follow the river and swamps to get to this Merlin Trial. You can see the Mallowsweet circle just on one of the islands next to the bushes.

You shall need to head on over to the very big tree and pick up the moths by using the Lumos spell. Make sure that you don’t mount to go back because the moths will be left behind.

Now just walk on up to where you started the trial by throwing the Mallowsweet leaves and placing them inside the pillar.

Walk on over to this side of the swamp now and look for the fallen big tree. You can find others just flying behind it.

Pick them up by using Lumos once again.

Bring them on over again to one of the pillars in the center of the trial puzzle.

The last moths will be on the other side of the swamp after you walk on the roots of the trees. You can find them next to the short but very wide tree in the swamp.

You can take them back to the last pillar in the center of the puzzle place.

South Sea Bog Merlin Trial Puzzle 2

This is the location where you shall find the second and last Merlin Trial in the South Sea Bog.

This is a very simple one in which you shall just need to shoot a couple of targets.

The first three targets will be just next to where you shall start the puzzle itself.

The next ones will be just as you look down over the edge and next to the water lake.

For the last ones, you can find them just underneath the rock hill. You might need to jump down and shoot them because they can be tricky to aim at from above.

Those are all the puzzles solved. Congratulations!

We hope that this guide has helped you out on what needed to be done in order to complete all of the Merlin Puzzles in the South Sea Bog. Have fun doing them yourself!
