Spectre Divide offers a unique twist on the traditional tactical shooters that players are used to. Players get to control two players at the same time, offering unique possibilities. Besides that, there is also the sponsor mechanic that allows you to select abilities.
Sponsors should not be slept on, as some of the abilities are much stronger than others. As a result, we’ll be ranking all of the sponsors in the game to see which is the best one. Without further delay, let’s dive in!
Best Sponsors Tier List
There are a total of 8 sponsors currently in the game. Each sponsor offers their own unique set of utility and abilities. We’ll be looking at how the overall kits stack up against each other.
This is all based on opinion, so it is possible that your own experience may differ here. So, we suggest you still experiment around to see which one suits your play style.
Now let’s take a look at the best sponsors tier list for Spectre Divide.
S Tier
- Morrgen United is the best sponsor in the game for a lot of reasons. It has Smoke Shift, which is the best ability in the game. Not only do you have 3-4 smokes to cover every angle, but you can also teleport to them.
- The rest of the abilities aren’t as strong but still really useful. You can use Meltdown to cover post plant situations and Hidden Grasp traps to cover your lane.
- When it comes to versatility, Bloom Technologies stands out as it can excel on any map. With Hex Barrier, you can safely peek angles, gather info, protect plants and force enemies into a gunfight disadvantage.
- Twin Heal also allows a powerful heal that is very easy to deploy. The Swarm Grenades work as smokes that are solid and can even damage enemies who go into them.
- If you’re someone who likes to feed off info, Ryker Industries has you covered. The Wave Scan can provide a ton of info with just one use, and you can use it multiple times. Hull Mines are pretty weak in terms of damage, but still allow you to collect info.
- The Arc Sentry turret is the best flank watch ability in the game. You can use it to hold angles and gather info on defense. In essence, this sponsor allows you to cover a lot of lanes.
A Tier
- Pinnacle International is really good for aggressive teams. The Splinter Grenade is an excellent way of flushing out enemies and stopping diffuses. You can also get kills with it by throwing them in places where players usually put specters.
- The Adrena-Link stim is the best entry ability in the game. It gives you a distinct advantage when you get into a gunfight. Lastly, the Flashbang is really strong too since it’s so hard to dodge and blinds people for a long time.
B Tier
- Umbra Reconnaissance is the most difficult sponsor to use. You can use the Recon Wing to get a lot of reliable information but not as good as Ryker’s scan. The Glare Burst is a decent AoE flash that can help you fight common angles.
- However, the real strength of this sponsor is the Pulsefinder. You can use it to hold an angle for 30 seconds straight and find out info about if a player is nearby. It also allows you to make your scan and flash stronger.
- Ghostlink Collective is effective in certain situations, but generally suffers due to the map design. The Partition ability allows you to block off multiple angles and stop enemy pushes. But the wall does not go far, doesn’t last long and requires you to be vulnerable in the first place.
- The Dupe is one of the strongest abilities though as there is no way to differentiate between the dupe and real player. Dead Zone is an alright grenade that makes pushes very difficult but is easy to wait out.
- While it isn’t a bad sponsor, there isn’t anywhere where Muu Robotics stands out. The Patches ability can heal a lot of health but is very slow and awkward to deploy. The Dazzler flash is also underwhelming as it moves slowly and does not go very far.
- You can also see through the flash effect easily from close range. The Hyber Drome is the best ability in the kit though, as you can use it as a Fast Recall Zone for quick rotations. You can also use the shield to protect yourself and hold angles.
C Tier
- Vector Dynamics is viable when it comes to solo play, but gets outranked by other sponsors for coordinated play. The Dual Amp is incredibly strong, giving you a gunfight advantage and allowing you to teleport for sneaky plays. It does require some practice though.
- Vector Wall is alright for covering certain angles but enemies can easily spam fire through it. The Nano Sphere is good for clearing certain angles and obtaining information. But it doesn’t really do much.
That’s everything you need to know for the best sponsors tier list. It is possible that the meta might shift as the game progresses. However, as of now, we suggest that you try the ones in the higher tier as they’ll provide you with the best results!
