Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man on the PlayStation 4 and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales that was released 3 years ago. With the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, fans of the webhead duo finally get to see the continuation of Insomniac’s version of the Marvel heroes.
In the game, there is a section where you play as a young Peter Parker sneaking into school to recover thumb drive that contains schoolwork. But in order to get it, he needs to get the police away and the guard alone. In this guide, I will show you how you can finish this part of the game in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
Distract The Police To Get The Guard Alone Guide
When you get to this section of the game, there will be 3 police officers you will need to distract.
- There will be one on the right side of the gym.
- One on the left side of the gym.
- And then one in the center that is talking to the guard.
Start with the right police officer by shooting your webshooters at the balloons that are located at the top right corner. Wait for the guard to get close and then shoot it.
After distracting the police officer on the right, turn around and look down. You will see a basketball rack under you.
Now, Hold L1 and R1 to pull the basketball rack, causing it to move and bump into something that will alert the police officer on the left side.
For the last police officer, look at the left side of the gym and you will see a photo booth. Aim at the camera and shoot a web.
This will cause the camera to flash and distract the police officer in the middle, leaving the guard alone by himself.
Once all the police officers are distracted, look at the middle of the gym and you will see the centerpiece that’s hanging from the ceiling. In order to zip it, Press L2 and R2.
From the ceiling, press L2 and you will hang upside down. Move the left thumbstick down and Peter will slowly move down until he is behind the guard.
You will then have the prompt to get the thumb drive from the guard, completing this section of the game.
