Spongebob games have always been one of the better platformers out there with games like Battle for Bikini Bottom and the Spongebob Movie game. Now there’s a new game and it’s Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake and it features all of the lovable characters from the show as well as notable places and even new ones.
There are a lot of levels you can go through in this game and all of them have collectibles. In this guide, we’ll show you how to get all the coins in one of the maps in the game.
Pirate Goo Lagoon All Coin Locations | SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake
Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake only has 8 maps, but each map is divided into levels and some of them have all sorts of collectibles and quests you can get.
One of the collectibles is coins and they’re quite hidden and easy to miss, so we’ll show you all of the coin locations in the Pirate Goo Lagoon map.
Coin #1
The first coin is in Bongo Beach.
Follow the path shown above and you’ll get to a place where there’s a big button. Press it and it’ll move 3 wooden platforms around the island where the button is.
Press it until you can cross the water to the place shown below, then go up and use the explosive to knock the lifeguard building back.
Right next to the fallen lifeguard building is a platform that leads to a cage in the ground, you can break it to get a coin inside!
Coin #2
The next one is in Sourvy Swamp and you’ll need to drop down from the checkpoint and go right following the platforms.
While continuing through the route, keep an eye out for a cave blocked by crates to the right. At the end of that cave is another coin!
Coin #3
Go back to the Sourvy Swamp checkpoint and this time go left.
Follow the path using the images above and below for reference.
You’ll then reach a point shown in the image below.
There you’ll find another cage on the ground that you can break and it has a coin inside.
Coin #4
This next one is in the Musical Mermaid map.
From the checkpoint just drop down and go right where there’s another cage on the small island with a coin in it.
Coin #5
The next one is in the Shipwreck Treasure level. Follow the path but diverge to the left shown above.
You’ll get to a shipwrecked boat that tips back and forth, to the side is a platform where there’s another coin.
Coin #6
The next one is in Port Jelly Royal. Follow the path until you get to the building at the very back.
Then hop from building to building until you reach the coin at the very back.
Coin #7
Make your way to the other side of the port where it’s the same thing.
Get to the back and on top of a building then use the platforms to hop from building to building.
The coin is again on top of another building on some crates, just jump over there.
Coin #8
The last coin is in the Admiral Prawn level.
Just go straight following the path but instead of going left, keep going straight to a small island where there’s a cage with a coin!
