Steelrising is a Souls-like game where you take control of an automaton to fight against Louis XVI, who was able to stop the French Revolution from happening by using his own mechanical army to eliminate anyone who participated in the revolution. You, Aegis, are a machine that was built to fight against the machines of Louis XVI. But how did you come to be? How did the French Revolution fail? What happened to the other historical figures? Steelrising answers these questions by giving you Echoes, which you can find them in the world to see what happened in the past. Let’s see where to find all Echo locations in Steelrising.
All Echo Locations – Steelrising
Take note that you can’t get some Echoes until you get specific abilities. You will have to backtrack to some of these Echoes once you acquire an ability.
The first Echo can be found in Les Invalides. After speaking to Marquis De La Fayette, go down the stairs and you should see it shining on the table. You don’t have to pick it up, you can just approach it and the Echo will play a cutscene.
In La Cite, you can get this Echo just by reaching the first vestal that is next to a broken bridge. This one is story related, so you get this Echo as you play the game.
After defeating the Unstable Butcher boss, you will have to go through a passage in order to continue the game. As you reach the end of the passage, you will automatically trigger the Echo.
Further down the chapter, just before a boss fight, you will trigger another Echo when you run through this street.
The next region, The Tuileries, you can get an Echo in the small room just before you enter the garden. It can be missed, because you need a certain amount of distance to trigger the Echo, so running through the room in a straight line can cause you to miss the Echo.
Right before you leave the garden, there is a wooden tower you can grapple on to. Once you reach the wooden tower, look to your right and you should see an Echo next to a patch of Red Flowers.
In The Tuileries still, you can find the next Echo after going up the stairs in the Louvre apartments. This is story related, so you can’t miss this.
Just after the last Echo, go down the stairs and you should reach a hallway with a window to the left you need to jump out to continue the story. However, instead of going out the window, go down the hall until you reach the end to trigger an Echo.
Starting from the gardens entrance, you will have to go through the Rue Saint-Honore Sewers. However, you will need the ability to break down walls for this (which you can get after killing the boss in Luxembourg). Head down the sewers and make your way until you see a wall you can break down. Keep going until you can grapple out of the sewers and emerge on the other side of Rue Saint-Honore. The Echo is near a flight of stairs.
You can find this Echo by doing the Nicolas Flame’s Final Journey side quest. You cannot enter this building if you do not have the side quest active.
There is a large gazebo in Luxembourg with a shiny light on the ground. It’s hard to miss, but if you’re going fast then it can be a blur to you.
In Luxembourgh, you have to dash to a window in order to reach a boss fight in the garden area. Instead of doing that, drop down to the street and head to the right. You will find an Echo at the end of the street.
There is a quest in Luxxembourg called Origins. Complete the quest and you will get an Echo once you do.
On your second visit of Les Invalides, find and start the Origins side quest. You will then have to go through a large golden gate with a house on the other side. Enter the house to trigger the Echo.
When you have to go to the hotel, there is a stack of red boxes right next to a fence. Use the boxes to jump over the fence and go to the end of the street. The Echo is visible at the end of it.
After fighting the Unstable Frost Acolyte in front of the church, there is a Echo at the entrance.
There is an Echo when you enter the hotel. Look to your left and you should see it.
In the Montmartre region, in the 2nd level of the underground vestal, if you are looking at the vestal directly, go to the opening to the left of the vestal. Stick to the wall on the right until you find a wall you can destroy. Inside it, the Echo will be on the end of the new room.
When you have to find the Refuge area to repair the underground lift, you can find an Echo on a table.
Once you have repaired the underground lift and have to go down using the lift a second time, follow the only path forward. After some time, there will be a corner with vines that lead up a slope. Go up the slope and there will be a wide area with an Echo in the middle.
In The Bastille area, you can find an Echo in the moat, just under the main bridge that leads to the Bastille.
Inside the Bastille through the jailer’s quarters, there is a door to the left before a spiral staircase. Go inside and you should see an Echo next to the fireplace.
Coming down from the ramparts, you will have to go down 2 spiral staircases. Once you reach the bottom of the second spiral staircase, there is a door to your left. Go to it and look for the breakable wall, break it, and the Echo will be inside.
After defeating the boss in Bastille, there is a room past the Vestal. Inside is the Echo.
When you reach the Versailles region, at the very first vestal, there is a gate to the left (if you are facing the vestal). Go through the gate and you should find an Echo.
After exiting the Labyrinth, you will reach an area called Petit Trianon. Once you enter the area as the area name pop up, go to the left and there is an Echo near a water fountain.
Right after your talk with the queen, you will enter an area with horse statues surrounding a little bridge with water under it. There should be stairs on the left which will take you to a garden where the Echo is.
When you find the corpse with the Replacement Lever, on the right next to the gate is the last Echo of the game. That is if you followed the guide and found the others.
