While the French Revolution was decimated by the mechanical army that definitely should not be there, the resistance did not falter. There are still people who are willing to fight against tyranny, hoping for a better future. Aegis assists the resistance as best as she can, all while completing her own mission. In the side quest “Gunpowder Trail”, you have to prevent the enemy from getting their hands on gunpowder, even if it means blowing it up. In this guide, we will be showing you how to complete the Gunpowder Trail side quest.
Gunpowder Trail – Steelrising
When starting the side quest, you will have to go to La Cite. Once there, follow the objective marker until it takes you to the warehouse. Inside, you will find dead bodies and glowing things on the floor. Approach them as you need to inspect the warehouse in order to continue to the next objective. After examining everything in the room, your next objective should take you to the Bastille.
You will have to make your way to the Bastille and into the Governor’s Office, where you will find the key for the gunpowder room with a mission order. The key will open the gate that is located in the sewers.
You will see the gate that leads to the Powder Magazine room. Here, you can find the gunpowder. You have two choices here: destroy the gunpowder or secure it. Choose which one you want, and you will get the objective to report back to the Cordeliers Convent to finish the quest.
