Super People Best Settings Complete Guide

If there is one thing that gamers everywhere hate more than losing, it’s frame drops. Frame drops are a result of either the game having horrible optimization, or that your PC is not strong enough to handle the game. While some people spend at least four digits on a gaming PC, some people don’t have the luxury to spend more than three digits. If you’re one of those people that cannot spend money on your PC upgrades and would rather mess around in the settings to lessen the frame drops, then this Super People Best Settings guide is for you.

Best Settings Complete Guide – Super People

Super People, like most games that have recently released, will suffer from poor optimization for different PCs. It’s happened with PUBG, Valorant, Apex Legends, and so on. One of the most common way to fix this issue is to simply update Windows and your GPU.

Updating Windows grabs all of the latest updates and implements it into your system to perform better, even for gaming. Upgrading your GPU, which can only be accomplished on desktop computers (sorry laptop gamers), is also the best way to beat the horrible optimization. However, not everyone has money to spend, and we understand that. But please know that upgrading GPUs is usually the best way to improve gaming performance.

The next thing to try is to disable fullscreen optimizations and change high DPI settings. Fullscreen sometimes makes your game performance better, but it also sometimes makes it worse. Disabling that will allow you to change the setting to your preference.

For your high DPI settings, you have to check the override high DPI scaling behavior and select application. This will prevent Windows from doing its own thing whenever Super People runs, letting you have more control with the game.

Another thing we can try, and this is geared more towards people with gaming laptops (but also works if you’re on a desktop PC), is by manually choosing what GPU the game will choose. Sometimes, but this rarely happens, a game will automatically choose a random GPU.

This only happens if your processor has integrated graphics, which is common in gaming laptops. If it does choose the integrated graphics, you can fix this by opening the Graphics Settings menu and adding Super People into the list of apps. Then select options and you will see choices between high performance or power saving.

Choose high performance, as this is usually where your most powerful GPU option is located at. Power saving will usually choose the integrated graphics in your processor (if you have one). Then select save, and Super People will run with your GPU.

You should also try turning the Game Mode on within your PC. It’s a feature that most users don’t know about, and it often helps your system run games better. Leaving it off would just be a waste, and turning it on won’t damage your PC or anything, so leaving it on is the best option.

Turning off the recording feature is also a great way to improve performance not only for Super People, but for all of your games. Recording not only takes up a lot of space, but it also makes your computer run slow. Sometimes, your PC will record things for you in random moments. It’s much better to disable this if you’re not planning on starting a YouTube channel anytime soon.

Storage is also another thing people should take note of when trying to get maximum performance in a game. If you install Super People, or any game, in a drive that’s close to being full, you will see your performance being impacted. That’s because you don’t account for the shader cache and other things being placed inside your drive.

To do this, you will have to perform a Disk Cleanup on the drive where Super People is located in. it’s also a good idea to clean up your drives every once in a while, to free up some space.

You should also think about disabling some programs that start up when you boot up your computer. This affects the performance of your CPU, which is also crucial in PC gaming. So, having less stress on your CPU means better performance.

You may not think it, but overlays actually affect performance. Having them on means that your RAM will have to be used here as well, instead of just your game. It also uses CPU, but not that much. However, if you frequently use the features of an overlay, like the Xbox Game Bar to check your performance, then you can leave it on.

Now that we have adjusted the settings outside of the game, we will move on to adjusting settings inside of the game. When you first launch Super People, and if you have it installed on an HDD, this message will pop up.

SSDs are usually the best place to install your games, as SSDs offer faster loading times. However, it’s not a requirement to install it in an SSD. An HDD will do just fine.

Now that we’re in the game, you will have to check the graphics settings in the menu. The game will detect your GPU and will determine what preset you will use, which is Medium most of the time. However, you should play a match first before you make any changes. Just to see what frames you’re getting.

When you’ve played a match and have felt what it’s like, you should then move back to the Graphics menu and tweak some things in Advance Settings. You should make some changes that suit your needs, but here’s the settings we recommend for better FPS.

  • FOV – User preference. But, bear in mind that it does affect performance since the higher the field of view, the more it has to render.
  • Rendering Size – 100%
  • Textures – High
  • Shadows – Very Low
  • View Distance – Very Low
  • Foliage – Very Low
  • Effects – Very Low
  • Shader – Very Low or Low
  • Anti-aliasing – Very Low
  • Post Processing – Very Low
  • Depth of Field – Disable
  • Sharpen – 2.0

Once you reach the bottom, which is Resolution Scaling, you will have to choose between AMD FidelityFX SR or NVIDIA DLSS. These two settings are a blessing on Earth, because toggling these on will grant you more FPS. They’re essentially just settings that you can turn on that will then make your game run better, as the actual explanation is very convoluted.

However, if you do not have an RTX 3000 series GPU, then you won’t be able to use DLSS. DLSS is exclusive only to RTX 3000 GPUs, so you can only use FidelityFX SR by AMD.
