Swordburst 3 recently got out of early access on Roblox, which means new players are flooding the servers as we speak. Before you hop in on the hype train, you may want to be prepared for what’s to come. With that in mind, this guide will teach you some of the basics you need to know as a new player!

Complete Beginner’s Guide

At the start of the game, you will spawn in Gemstone Woodlands (Floor 1). To become more acquainted with the hub city, interact with the teleport pad that you spawned on. Select New Arcadia and teleport there.

In New Arcadia, you will find the following features that will come in handy throughout your in-game career:

  • Various pieces of equipment for sale.
  • Upgrade and Enchanting stations to boost your gear.
  • A mount shop with a list of mounts and their requirements.
  • Player-run shops (basically items on the ground that you can buy)

This will be expanded in future updates, as indicated by the fact that there are several empty stalls and buildings at the moment. For now, though, it is mostly an upgrading hub and trading hub.

How to Level Up Fast

After you’re done exploring New Arcadia, go back to the teleporter and head on back to Floor 1. Just slightly ahead of the teleporter is the Beginner Trainer NPC.

Upon talking to this NPC, you can begin the “A New Adventure” quest. This will have you kill five Razor Boars around the area for some experience and in-game currency.

After completing this quest and clicking “Claim”, you can immediately repeat it by clicking “Yes” on the prompt that asks you whether or not you want to do it again. You can repeat this for some quick early gains.

As you progress through the game, you’ll be encountering other NPCs with the cyan exclamation mark icon over their heads. These are quest givers, and some of them will give you story quests.

Story quests, unlike the repeatable ones, will help you progress through the game and clear paths to new zones.

Eventually, you will reach an area with an NPC named Merchant Steve. He will give you the repeatable “Wolf Problem”, which is one of the best ways to grind levels in the early stages of the game.

Also, don’t forget to activate waystones that you run into as you travel across the zones. This will let you fast travel to other activated waystones in the floor.

Heading to the Next Floor

Once you reach a high enough level to progress into Floor 2, the goal will be to reach the area with the NPC known as Yenn. Do the repeatable quest to kill Magma Golems in the area until you reach max level.

This is pretty much all you have to do before you can start grinding bosses and working towards what can be considered endgame content in the current version of the game.
