How To Get To Kaigan Canyon

The reason why players have a hard time getting to Kaigan Canyon is because some of the paths in the game have no signs or any marks showing it can be traversed. The same is here with Kaigan Canyon’s location.

To get to Kaigan Canyon, first you need to enter this entrance from Nikido City (which has no signs whatsoever despite other similar entrances having signs at top).

This entrance will lead you to the Whispering Woods.

Once in the Whispering Woods, move forward in the direction shown in the image below.

You will come across a patch of grass between boulders. Make your way over it and keep moving straight.

After crossing the grassy area, you will notice a Dome lit up in the distance. Make your way towards the Dome.

In front of the Dome, there is a plank lying between two lands. Make your way towards the other land by using the plank as a bridge. There’s an entrance as marked below with an arrow. Take this entrance as it will lead you to The Mines.

The Mines

The Mines is a pretty intensive area. There are a lot of Trainers ready to battle you. You can avoid some of those Trainers by going behind them but you have to battle most of them. You will get EXP and some Trainers also have cutscenes so it is recommended you fight them all.

Keep moving forward in The Mines.

You will soon reach another bridge (although this is much shorter than the previous one). Use this bridge to cross to the other side.

Once you get to the other side, look for a crack in the wall. The area is very dark so it might be hard to notice at first but it is there. Look at the image below for guidance.

This crack in the wall leads directly to Kaigan Canyon.

After getting to the Kaigan Canyon, you may want to start looking for the Pseudo Legendary Fordarke. We suggest checking this guide on How To Find The Pseudo Legendary Fordarke for more information.
