In Tears of the Kingdom there’s a bunch of different stables you can visit throughout the world. Some of these stables can have interesting quests. In the Riverside Stable you can start the Feathered Fugitives side quest. This quest requires you find and collect Cucco birds, basically chickens.
In this guide, we’ll show you the locations of all the 5 Cucco birds for the quest. Now, let’s find out where these glorified chickens are!
All 5 Cucco Locations at Riverside Stable
Some of these chickens, or Cuccos, for the Feathered Fugitives can be difficult to find. They’re in pretty weird places, so here are all the locations for these feathered friends!
Cucco #1
Once you start the quest look to the southeast of the quest giver to the water. There on top of a stone formation is the first Cucco bird. All you need to do is get the bird and throw it into the pen.
Cucco #2
The next Cucco bird is to the south of the quest giver, on top of a thick tree. The tree is next to some building supplies. Depending on the weather the Cucco might fall off the tree so that saves you some effort!

For the third Cucco bird you’ll want to look at the north of the quest giver this time. There you’ll see a small area where a band plays some music. Listening to the band is a Cucco bird.

The next Cucco bird on the list is actually inside the Riverside Stable. When you enter the stable go to the very back wall where you’ll see another bird!

For the last Cucco bird you’ll want to go to the top of the Riverside Stable. There on the head of the horse statue is where you can find the last Cucco bird enjoying the view from there!
With all the Cucco birds acquired you can then go back to the quest giver and turn in the quest!
