The fuse mechanic in Tears of the Kingdom is always fun to use. Fuse your weapon with all sorts of things, like a rock to break rocks, or a bomb to explode you and your enemy. Some of the side quests even require you to use the Fuse skill and Decorate with Passion is one of those quests.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to do this quest, so be ready to get a weapon and a ruby because we’ll need it!
Decorate With Passion Side Quest Guide
This side quest requires you to fuse a weapon for an NPC. It could be any weapon but the object you’ll fuse it with must be a ruby. Here are the steps we’ll be taking to do this side quest:
- Locate Boraa in the Kara Kara Bazaar (-3229, -2522, 0023) and start the side quest.
- Get a ruby and a spare weapon.
- Fuse the ruby with the weapon.
- Show the weapon to Boraa and complete the quest!

Detailed Walkthrough
NOTE: You can skip this section if you the quest is already active. To start the quest, we’ll need to go to the Kara Kara Bazaar in the Gerudo Desert. There you’ll need to find an NPC named Boraa. Her coordinates are around -3229, -2522, 0023.
You can find her sitting next to some of the lean-to in the bazaar to the north. Talk to her to start the side quest.
She’ll talk about her mentor giving her a task to decorate a weapon with style. She needs a weapon that has a sparkle, and it must radiate burning passion. She also states that you can’t use monster parts for the side quest.
Get a spare weapon, anything will do, even a stick! Then hold a ruby and drop it on the ground. You can find rubies in the many caves of the game.
With the ruby on the ground get your weapon out and fuse it with the ruby.
You can then go back to Boraa and show her the weapon. This will finish the side quest and she’ll reward you with an Electric Keese Wing.
