There are so many weapons in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that you can collect through various means. But obviously, those that drop from fighting an epic boss always perform better than most.
With that said, we’ll be looking for the Gloom Sword and Demon King’s Bow in this guide. When you don’t have fully repaired Master Sword, the Gloom Sword is easily a great substitute as your main weapon.
Gloom Sword & Demon King’s Bow Location
Both the sword and the bow are dropped from the same boss in Tears of the Kingdom, the Phantom Ganon. The Phantom Ganon and his weapon drops, Gloom Sword & Demon King’s Bow are all to the west of Rutile Lake.
The Gloom Sword’s description goes as follow:
This slender sword has an ominous presence. It is said to end the life of anyone it touches. Its gloom will gradually wear down the body of its wielder.

And the Demon King’s Bow’s description:
A magical bow prized by the Demon King. Its performance reflects the power of its wielder. The higher your maximum number of hearts, the more its attack power increases.
Demon King’s Bow
We start with the coordinates (-2850, 0758, 0097), which is in the middle of the forest where you will meet treasure hunter Kaffi. Talk to Kaffi who’ll reveal about a hidden cave around there where Misko’s treasure is. But Kaffi couldn’t find it.
Don’t look around for too long – head southwest and drop down the canyon. The coordinates are (-2910 0795 0023) and the entrance is pretty huge. This is the Tamio River Downstream Cave.
As you continue going deeper into the cave, there’ll be a few monsters you have to deal with.
And finally inside, you’ll meet Gloom Hands. You can fight these hands with ranged explosives from a distance. These are the underlings before you can fight the big boss, the Phantom Ganon.
After you kill the boss, you will find the weapons on the floor with another loot.
The Gloom Sword is a one-handed weapon with a 41 Attack Power and the Gloom Toll property. While the Demon King’s Bow is a ranged two-handed weapon with 25 Attack Power. The Demon King’s Bow’s low base attack, however, is compensated by the Max HP scaling. So as you can see, at more than 20 hearts, you can have a base attack value of 60.
