With the addition of Zonai Devices to the new Tears of the Kingdom game, the battle for Hyrule will no doubt escalate even further. But not all devices are made to only fit the purposes of war and destruction. Some are made to transport you to where the destruction is happening so you can add more to it.

That’s where the simple hoverboard comes in, no not the two wheeled monstrosities people rode ten years ago. That won’t get you anywhere, we’re talking about something that goes beyond hovering. Check out the guide if you’re in need for some transportation yourself!

How to Make a Hoverboard

The hoverboard is a three piece contraption. You’ll only need two fans and one steering stick for this build to work.  Visit the Zonai Device Dispenser in the Torin Wetland if you don’t have any in your inventory. You can get there by using either the Jochi-ichiga or Rasitakiwak Shrines.

Lay down the fans on the ground and use your Ultrahand ability on the steering stick. Tilt it to a 45-degree angle and attach it to the fan. Make sure that the air blowing side is the one that’s facing the ground. If you attach your steering stick at an undesirable angle then your mode of transport simply won’t fly straight.

With the first fan attached, sticking the second fan in will be easier. Make sure that the second fan is facing down. Once that’s attached you will see that it’s also tilted the same way as the first fan.

When you’re finished testing, save your design in your Autobuild. This lets you reconstruct the project anywhere as long as you have the Zonai Devices available in your inventory. If you want to smuggle cargo around Hyrule then you may want to attach more fans to your build so you don’t fall out of the sky!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
