Detailed Walkthrough
There are a couple of things you’ll need to complete this quest. One is a fire fruit which is easy to find in the starting areas and around Bokoblins. Another item we’ll need is an Ice Fruit which can be found in the many snow areas of the map like in the Hebra mountains.
Once you’ve have the two items go to where Anche is. You’ll then need to throw an Ice Fruit onto the pool. This will make a thin block of ice, but it’ll be too big for the alcove.
Use Ultrahand to get the ice out of the water and then throw a Fire Fruit at it, aim at the corners. This will make the ice block smaller.
You can then use your Ultrahand to place the Ice Block into the Alcove. You can then talk to Anche again to complete the quest!
