The new Zelda game is out and its Tears of the Kingdom! There’s a lot of new stuff in the game as well as familiar stuff you’ve probably seen on the previous game. The game map may look the same but now it has a vast underground area as well as the sky islands, that means more exploration!

Of course, we don’t want to just walk around everywhere, especially if we’ve already been there! That’s why there’s still shrines in the game that you can do their challenges to unlock fast travel points! In this guide we’ll show you how to do the Ishodag Shrine in Hyrule Field!

Ishodag Shrine Guide

In Tears of the Kingdom, you have the shrines back and just like in the previous game they’re puzzle areas that you’ll want to complete. That’s because they also act as fast travel points in the game to make traversing a bit easier. Not only that but if you complete one, you’ll get a Blessing of Light, and 4 of them can be used to get a heart or a stamina segment upgrade!

Here are the steps we’ll take to complete this shrine:

  1. Locate The Shrine in the Quarry Ruins.
  2. Solve the first puzzle by using the wind generating fan.
  3. Solve the second puzzle by making a boat with a fan.
  4. Solve the last puzzle by lifting the platform with two fans.
  5. Finish the Shrine!
Tears Of The Kingdom Ishodag Shrine Map Location

In the western parts of Hyrule Field in the Quarry Ruins is the Ishodag Shrine. The exact coordinates are -0891, 0419, 0047. There you’ll find the shrine, it’s hard to miss since it’s a large rock with green lights floating up from it. At the base is where you can interact with the shrine and start the level.

The level starts with a simple puzzle, there’s a fan to the left of the area, you can use your Ultrahand to get it and place it near the platform shown below. Make sure the fan is pointing upwards when you do so.

You can then hit the fan and it’ll start blowing wind upwards. Just get on top of the fan, jump and quickly use your Paraglider. The glide will catch the wind and send you up so you can glide to the platform above.

Continue on to the next area and there you’ll find a large flat piece of wood and a fan. There’s water between where you are and the next area. Use your Ultrahand again, first to drop the wood on the water. You’ll then need to attach the fan at the back of the wooden platform to make a boat.

Make sure the fan is facing the opposite of where you want to go. Once the boat is set, just hop on and hit the fan. Ride the boat until you get to the other side.

On the other side is a chest on the right wall, you’ll need to take a fan and attach it to the spinning platform where the chest is. When done right you can hit the fan and it’ll keep the platform still. You can use the image below as a guide.
