Bubbul Frogs are a new addition to Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom since they are fun to collect and can be traded for rare regards from Koltin. This guide will focus on the Bubbul Frog located in Mapla Point Cave.
Mapla Point Cave Bubbul Frog
- First, head over to the Mapla Point Cave, towards the map’s Southeast area.
- Jump off the edge and glide.
- You will spot an entrance to a cave. Head into the opening and land in the water.
- Swin towards the boat on the shore towards the left of the cave entrance.
- At the boat, look up, and you will spot an opening to the upper level of the cave.
- Use the Ascend ability to move to the upper level.
- Behind you will be the Bubbul Frog on the wall.
- Shoot the Bubbul Frog with an arrow to obtain the Bubbul Gem.
Detailed Walkthrough
The first step is to get to the Mapla Point Cave at the following coordinates. 4598, -2246, 0008.
Once at the coordinates, jump off the ledge and glide. You will spot a partially submerged entrance to the cave. Head into the cave via the entrance.
Once inside the cave, swim towards the boat towards the left of the entrance.
Once at the boat, look at the ceiling, and you will notice an opening to the upper level.
Use the Ascend Ability to head on over to this level. The Ascend Ability can be unlocked by completing the Gutanbac Shrine on the Great Sky Island.
Once at the upper level, look behind you, and you should spot the giant Bubbul Frog on the wall.
Shoot the Bubbul Frog to get the Bubbul Gem.
Bubbul Frogs are a nice new mechanic added into Tears of the Kingdom. It is required to get these frogs if you want to acquire the new Mystic Armor set. We would love to hear from you in the comments below if you have any improvements or suggestions.
