There are 15 Skyview Towers in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom that you can unlock to reveal the map. Most of them come with puzzles and challenges that require you to fiddle around or find a hidden way in to unlock. These towers allow you to travel around the area easily and unlock the Surface & Sky Maps.
The Sahasra Slop Skyview Tower is locked from the inside and we’ll never know how that happened. It’s a key Skyview Tower to reach the Morok Shrine. But we do have the solution to get into this tower through a secret passageway.
Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower Guide
The Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower’s coordinates are (1136, -1171, 0185). You can see the towering building sitting atop the hill in West Necluda. Approach the tower and you’ll see an NPC, Billson, complaining about how they’ve been unable to enter the building because it’s locked from the inside. How did that happen? Nobody has the answer.
When you talk to the Billson, he will hint you that there are “caves at the bottom of the hill.” But because of how the graphics work in Tears of the Kingdom, the caves are almost impossible to spot with a glance. Luckily, there are two entrances – northwest and southeast.
Whichever you enter from, the inside of the caves will be just as cluttered, but it’s very small. It’ll become easier to navigate if you bring rock hammers or bombs to destroy the rocks latched on the cave walls and ceilings. By doing so, you’ll find navigating easier, but you can still reach the room even without destroying the rocks.
Once you can see easier, find this particular room with this rock formation. There will be only one cave room inside with this particular rock formation.
- From the northwest entrance, it should be on your first right turn.
- From the southeast, go a little deeper and it’ll be on your left before the northwest entrance.
Then look up to see a spot in the ceiling that you can use Ascend through.
As you keep Ascending, you’ll pop out of the floor of the terminal room. But you still can’t use it and have to unlock the door. Look at the sides and you’ll see two sticks in the way of the space where the sliding door should go.
Remove the sticks with Ultrahand or just pick them up and open the door. Billson will help you fix the terminal, and you can now use it.
