The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom sees the return of some characters that made their appearance in Breath of the Wild. One of which is Cotera, the Great Fairy that enhances Link’s armor throughout Breath of the Wild. In Tears of the Kingdom, she returns once again in a side mission as Mastro wants to serenade Cotera as if she’s a beautiful maiden. Without further ado, I will show you how to help Mastro serenade Cotera like the suave man that he is!
Serenade to Cotera Guide
To start the quest, you will need to go to the Dueling Peaks Stable, which is in the Necluda region. The exact coordinates for the stable are 1571, -1955, 0010.
Speak to Mastro and he will tell you about the Great Fairy, Cotera, and how he wants to serenade her. However, it is impossible as the bridge is down, and there is no way to get to her. Fortunately, there is a way to do that, and it is to cross the river. Mastro and his group will move down to the area near the river.
When you reach Mastro, you will find them trying to figure out how to cross the river. You will need to build them a boat using the Breezer (their carriage).
After that, use the parts that are scattered around, which are two fans, a wooden board, a battery, and a steering wheel.
In order to build a boat, you will need to place the Breezer on top of the wooden board first. Make sure that there is enough room in the back for the two fans to be attached to. Once the fans are attached, attach the battery to either fan, it doesn’t matter. Lastly, you then attach the steering wheel at the front of the boat.
After building the makeshift boat, talk to Mastro and tell him to get in the boat. Once they are all on, use Ultrahand to move the boat into the water. You can then control the boat and steer it to Cotera.
Once you reach the area where Cotera is, Mastro will serenade to her and Cotera will bloom from her flower. After the cutscene ends, the quest will automatically complete.
That’s all you need to know on completing the Serenade to Cotera quest. Did you manage to get Mastro and his group to Cotera? Let us know in the comments below.
