All of the Zonai Devices in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is useful. With enough creativity, you’ll love the various ways you can enjoy exploring the map, solving the puzzles, or just basically doing crazy meme-worthy stunts to show off to your friends. But first off, you have to figure out where to even get these devices.
The Shock Emitter, Light, Steering Stick, and Homing Cart are some of the earliest, best Zonai Devices to get. We’re going to list which Device Dispenser drops them and where these dispensers are!
Shock Emitter, Light, Steering Stick & Homing Cart Location
If you’re not familiar with the system yet, Zonai Devices are these fancy, often one-time use devices. You can combine them, attach them to open-world objects, or use them on their own. In exchange for Zonai Charges, the dispenser will use a gacha system and give you items. The Shock Emitter, Light, Steering Stick, and Homing Cart are just some of the devices that these dispensers drop.
But fret not, it’s not a completely random gacha – each dispenser has a fixed amount of item variety that it can drop. You can say the drop is almost guaranteed and the only random variable is the amount. There is one single dispenser that drops all of these and only all of these. It is the Device Dispenser on North Hyrule Sky Archipelago on coordinates (0084, 0691 -0470).
But what if you need more? Most of the device dispensers are on floating islands. In fact, the Ichikara Village, Kakariko Village, and Gerudo Canyon are the only known dispensers on land.
Shock Emitter
The Shock Emitter is a device that shocks enemies within range. It stuns them, although the range is slightly smaller than most of us prefer it to be. It’s great for crowd control and makes your life easier in fights. Aside from the location above, these two dispensers on Sky Islands also have it: the Starview Island and North Gerudo Sky Archipelago.
Light
The Light can be found in many of dispensers spread across the map. It’s a simple device that adds light to your device or ride. The Southern Hyrule Sky Islands, East Hebra Sky Archipelago, and Kumamayn Shrine are other places where you can get some lights from.
Steering Stick
It is easily one of the most used device because it allows you to steer your contraptions or makeshift rides. The Ichikara Village is one of the few Device Dispensers on land and has the Steering Stick. Aside from there, the Kumamayn Shrine and East Gerudo Sky Archipelago also has the Steering Stick.
Homing Cart
The Homing Cart is a very powerful device to help you combat enemies, especially when you feel like you’ll be overwhelmed in numbers. Aside from the North Hyrule Sky Archipelago, you can also find them in the dispensers at the Sokkala Sky Archipelago and the Necluda Sky Archipelago near the Yansamin Shrine.
