There are a lot of new and familiar old places in the new Tears of the Kingdom game. The map of the game may look like the same, but you’ll soon notice that it’s a bit more vertical than before! With the addition of the sky islands and the underground areas, there’s new areas to look around and go on an adventure!
Of course, we can’t forget about the Shrines that dot the landscape. These shrines act as your fast travel points when you finish the puzzles inside of them. In this guide, we’ll show you how to finish the Sinakawak Shrine in Hyrule Field.
Sinakawak Shrine Guide
For those who don’t know, the shrines in Tears of the Kingdom are a vital part of traversing and progressing in the game. Not only do they turn into fast travel points when you finish them, but they also give you a Blessing of Light for doing so. Having 4 of these can give you either a health or Stamina upgrade which is always useful!
Here are the steps we’re going to take in order to finish this shrine:
- Locate the Shrine in the North Hyrule Plain.
- Solve the first puzzle by making a floating platform with a balloon and a candle.
- Solve the second puzzle by pressing a button with a balloon.
- Solve the third puzzle by lifting some spheres with multiple balloons.
- Finish the Shrine!
The Sinakawak Shrine is located in the North Hyrule Plain in the middle of Hyrule Field and Hyrule Ridge. The exact coordinates are -1403, 0757, 0088. Like the other shrines this one isn’t hard to miss because of the large rock and glowing green particles above it. Interact with it to go inside and start the level.
After going into the level run up some stairs and you’ll see the first puzzle. Meet the Hot Air Balloon, the Wooden Platform and the Candle. All of them are essential tools to solve the puzzles in this shrine, so get ready to use your Ultrahand a lot!
The first puzzle is easy, all you need to do is place the wooden platform next to the wall, place the candle in the middle, and place the balloon on the top. You can use the image below as a reference. Once you’ve placed the balloon just hop onto it quick!
The platform will rise with the hot air from the candle going to the balloon. You can then get to the next puzzle area!
The next puzzle you’ll see another candle and some balloons. There’s a gate there that you need to open and a button above it. As shown below, just place a candle below the button and attach a balloon onto it.
This will make the balloon rise and press the button above, opening the gate! You can then go to the next puzzle area.
The next area is a large square hole on the ground, you’ll want to use the ladders to get down to the bottom. There are two spheres at the bottom, one big and one small, there are also multiple candles, balloons and wooden platforms.
As shown below, place the Wooden Platform first, then the Big Sphere followed by the small sphere on top. You’ll then need to attach 3 candles on 3 corners of the platform and 3 balloons on top of them.
That should be enough to lift both spheres to the next area above.
As the platform starts to fly up jump on top of it and get to the next area. From there, you can jump down and use your Ultrahand to pull the platform with the spheres to a safe spot where you can disassemble them without it falling to the hole.
First, we’ll want to put the large sphere on the large circle hole on the ground. This will unlock a gate that has a chest inside for you to loot! It’s not needed to finish the shrine but might as well get it!
The last part of the shrine is placing the small sphere on the small circle hole. This will unlock the gate that will lead you to the end of the shrine!
That’s how you finish the Sinakawak Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Now go out there and try it yourself and don’t forget to go for the other shrines!
