When you’re playing an FPS game you should always aim for better FPS, by that I mean Frames per second. No one wants to play a laggy game where for some reason the enemy always appears right before you lag. Before your PC can render the next frames you’re already dead.
In The Cycle Frontier the new Season added a bunch of changes in the game, but it also made the game stutter for some players. We don’t want stuttering since it can get really annoying really fast, so in this guide we’ll show you how to fix that stuttering issue!
Season 3 Stuttering Fix | The Cycle Frontier
If you’ve been playing the Cycle Frontier and got some stuttering due to the newest patch then you’re not the only one. Hundreds of players have reported stuttering and loss of FPS in the game with the new Season.
If you’re one of the players out there then there’s a lot of workarounds, but first you should try to update your game and see if the problem persists. That’s because one of the more recent patches in the game seems to have fixed the problem for a lot of players, so if you haven’t tried it yet go and play the game and see if the stuttering still happens.
For those that still has Stuttering there’s a lot of different fixes that you can try, here are those fixes:
- Update your Graphics Drivers
- Play on DirectX 12
- Turn off binaural audio in the Options
If this still doesn’t work then you can always try to delete your config folder. To do so go to your Appdata\Local\Prospect Folder and delete the whole Prospect folder. Once you run the game it’ll be in its default settings and you can try and see if the stutters are still there.
