There are many quests to complete as you try and become friends with all sorts of heroes and villains in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
After reaching friendship level 2 with Rapunzel, you can start The Housewarming quest, wherein you will have to help her fix her tower, among other things.
Here is a quick guide that will run you through the steps involved in finishing it!
The Housewarming Quest Guide
After following Rapunzel into her tower and speaking with her, she will first task you with gathering the following materials:
- 4 Zinc – Zinc can be mined within The Grasslands, The Promenade, The Grove, and The Lagoon.
- 4 Tin – This can be mined in The Plains, The Wastes, The Oasis, and The Borderlands.
- 30 Soil – You can get this by simply digging through the ground in areas where there’s soil.
With the following materials on hand, return to the tower and fix the door. After that, you will have to search for the following items by using the Hourglass around specific locations:
- Wall clock – Somewhere near The Docks.
- Cast-Iron Pan – Somewhere near The Oasis.
- Handheld Lantern – Search near The Grasslands.
- Purple Cushion – Found within The Promenade.
After finding all the items, return to Rapunzel and examine the painting that she gives you. The next step will be to place the items you collected in the correct spots as indicated by the painting.
If you wish to check the painting again in case you forgot where things are placed, simply open the Collection menu and go to Memories. Here is a summary of their correct locations:
- Wall clock – On the table with art supplies at the corner of the room.
- Cast-Iron Pan – Right beside the doorway.
- Handheld Lantern – On the nightstand beside the bed.
- Purple Cushion – On the swinging chair opposite of the bed.
Once you have placed the items in the right spots, talk to Rapunzel again and she will ask you to find the following materials for the capybaras:
- 10 Bamboo – Can be found all around The Grasslands, The Promenade, The Grove, and The Lagoon.
- 15 Tropical Wood – Can be gathered within The Grasslands.
- 1 Spinel – Mined from rocks found all around The Grove and The Promenade.
- 3 Green Glass-Like Flowers – These are found in The Plains and The Wastes.
With all of these materials on hand, travel to your nearest crafting station and make a Tropical Companion Home, which can be found under the Functional Items category.
Finally, simply place the home anywhere in the Jungle. To simplify the process, just plop it down beside Rapunzel’s tower. Then, return to her one last time and the quest should be completed.
