In Ninja Time, choosing the right clan can make all the difference in both PvP and PvE. I’ve played with most of these clans since beta, so I’ve got a solid understanding of how they perform. That’s why in my tier list, I’ve ranked the most popular clans based on their overall performance, damage output, and utility. From the top-tier powerhouses that dominate in battle to the more niche picks that shine in specific situations, my list will help guide your decisions on which Clan you should use! If you’re new to the game, this will help you decide which clans to roll for and which ones to keep.

Best Clan Tier List

In Ninja Time, there are a variety of clans, each with its own unique abilities that can drastically impact your playstyle. Some clans are built for raw power, dominating in both PvE and PvP, while others offer more niche benefits like mobility, utility, or support.

In this tier list, I’ve ranked the all the clans based on their overall performance, damage output, and usefulness in both solo and team-based scenarios:

  • S-tier clans are the absolute best—game-changing and borderline broken.
  • A-tier clans are strong and viable but have a few drawbacks that keep them from reaching the top.
  • B-tier clans are decent and can hold their own, but they’re not the most optimal.
  • C-tier clans start to struggle, and D-tier clans? Well… you should probably reroll if you get stuck with one.

Whether you’re rolling for power, strategy, or just personal preference, this list will help you decide which clans are worth keeping and which ones to avoid!

All clans in Ninja Time ranked from best to worst.

S-Tier (Broken, Must-Have)

  • Rinnegan Clan: This clan is simply busted. If you have it, you’re set. Early game? You’ll be melting bosses. The Hell Gate ability one-shots enemies, and in PvP, it’s straight-up broken. Some moves can be dodged, but overall? Easily one of the best clans.
  • Shisui Clan: Itachi’s clan, but better for PvP. Almost every ability lands consistently, making it the best PvP clan in the game. If you roll this, do NOT reroll it—you’ll regret it.
  • Itachi Clan: Right below Rinnegan, but still an S-tier pick. Genjutsu is fantastic for both PvE and PvP, making it a super strong choice. If you get this, keep it.

A-Tier (Great Choices, But Not Broken)

  • Sasuke Clan: Sasuke’s clan is solid, but not S-tier. It does decent damage, but not OP enough to dominate. I used it to level up during beta, and honestly? It was painful. That being said, it’s still a good pick, especially if they add Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan later on.
  • Madara Clan (Situational): Madara’s clan was C-tier in beta, but after buffs? It’s much better. His Meteor ability does 12K damage, which is insane for boss fights. The downside? It has a 2-minute cooldown and doesn’t work on enemies inside buildings, making it pretty unreliable. Overall, it’s strong, but not top-tier due to that long cooldown.
  • Byakugan Clan: For PvP, this thing is annoying to fight against. I went up against someone using Byakugan in beta, and it was a nightmare. However, for PvE, it’s decent but not as strong as Sasuke’s clan. If you have limited rerolls, keep it. If you have 200-300 rerolls, go for something better.
  • Minato Clan (Best for Mobility): Not the best for combat, but insane for movement. If you don’t have the Fast Travel game pass, Minato’s teleportation ability is a lifesaver. You can place three teleportation kunai and warp instantly across the map. Given how massive the world is, this is huge.

B-Tier (Decent, But Not Meta-Defining)

  • Fighter Clan: A balanced clan that’s decent for PvP. Apparently, it has Eight Gates now, which wasn’t in beta. Could be interesting, but it’s not topping Sasuke or Byakugan.
  • Bone Clan: A solid mid-tier pick. Decent abilities, but nothing game-breaking.
  • Bug Clan (Great for PvP): This clan came in later during beta, and it’s fantastic for PvP. It applies poison damage over time, draining enemies’ HP. Not as useful for PvE, but in PvP? Super annoying to deal with.

C-Tier (Underwhelming, but Playable)

  • Obito Clan: If you played beta, you already know—it’s mid. It’s basically a worse version of the invisible fruit from Grand Piece Online. If you’re rolling for style points, go ahead. But if you actually want to progress, roll this away ASAP unless you’ve got like 10+ rerolls to spare.
  • Shadow Clan: I don’t think it’s even in the game yet? I only fought an NPC using it, and honestly? It was weak. If it gets buffed later, maybe it’ll improve, but for now? Not worth.

D-Tier (Not Worth Using)

  • Healer: It’s… okay? If you like healing, sure, but it’s nothing special.
  • Mind Transfer Jutsu: No need to waste time here—it’s trash. If I could put it in F-tier, I would.

Shisui, Sasuke & Itachi are the Best!

There you have it! That’s my ranking for the Clans in Ninja Time. I hope that my tier list helps you make informed choices in clans and improves your gameplay. Remember, while my tier list is based on my personal experience and observations, your own playstyle and strategies may lead you to different opinions.
