The Throne of the Primal Fire is one of the many mysterious and rewarding places in Genshin Impact, located within Ochkanatlan in the region of Natlan. In this guide, I will walk you through the location of the Throne of the Primal Fire, how to unlock the area, collect Blazing Flint Ores, and enhance your Pyro Traveler’s Constellations!
Throne of the Primal Fire Location
The Throne of the Primal Fire is a point of interest located in Ochkanatlan, Natlan as shown in the image below. However, this location becomes accessible only after completing Archon Quest: When All Becomes a Monument in Chapter V: Act V – Incandescent Ode of Resurrection.
Before completing this quest, the area is part of the Cradle of Fleeting Dreams and features a depiction mural of Och-Kan. After finishing the quest, the Throne of the Primal Fire will appear in Ochkanatlan. Then, you must interact with the Throne to offer Blazing Flint Ores and enhance the Primal Flame Resonance level.
IMPORTANT: You can only offer Blazing Flint Ores while using the Pyro-aligned Traveler. Attempting this with other characters will pretty much cancel the action.
Blazing Flint Ores & Where To Get Them
Blazing Flint Ores are used to upgrade the Pyro Traveler’s Constellations, enhancing their abilities and effectiveness. While the initial constellations are effective against the Lord of the Eroded Primal Fire boss, acquiring all Blazing Flint Ores is necessary to unlock the full potential of the Traveler’s abilities.
As for the obtainment method, Blazing Flint Ores are obtained by increasing Reputation Level 4 with each of the six tribes in Natlan. Each tribe can be identified on the map by their Obsidian Totem Poles, which share the same icon as other reputation areas.
Methods to Earn Reputation Experience:
- Fighting bounties weekly in regions related to each tribe.
- Completing quests.
- Exploring regions.
- Fulfilling supply notice requests.
Currently, five tribes are available as of Version 5.2. The Collective of Plenty is expected to release later, providing the final Blazing Flint Ore.
