Torchlight Infinite is finally getting close to its release and fans are excited on what the new Torchlight game is going to do next. One glaring issue that many fans have pointed out though is this new Torchlight game is not made by the original developers of Torchlight 1 and 2 but instead a different developer. Another fact is that this game will be more like a mobile game which worries old Torchlight players out there, but if a mobile game you want to play then this is the game for you. For those who are following the story of the Torchlight games this is what we know so far. Torchlight Infinite is set 200 years after the events of Torchlight 2 and the world is now starting to widely accept ember-imbued technology. For long-time fans, you might see a few familiar places here and there but there will also be new places to find and explore.
Another phrase that they’re throwing to the players is a “Complete True Loot based ARPG experience”. This means that everything loot related will be randomized. There will be a lot of loot out there with a lot of stats to mull over and theorycraft. The added randomized nature will make it even more fun!
The game also offers trading with other players. This is done using an auction house where you can place orders and sell your items. Great for those people with extra money and need that one specific item that has been eluding your grasp for a while now.
The game also has Seasons which will get continuous updates with new seasonal events that the players can participate in. Like other mobile games these seasons can offer huge rewards and fun for players who like these kinds of stuff.
Skills, spells and talents there is now a huge talent tree that Torchlight Infinite. This is akin to Path of Exile’s skill tree where there are multiple paths to choose from. Like major talent nodes and so on to keep the progression long, interesting and fun!
