Complete Beginner’s Guide + Codes
The game is filled with some notable anime characters as towers and there’s even a Gacha banner system in it. Not only that, but you can also move some towers around! Here are all the basics you’ll need to learn the game.
Gacha Tower Game & Codes
The first thing you should do when starting out in the game is to use codes, so you can get freebies. This will get you started in the game with some free pulls.
You’ll need them since this game is partially a gacha game and to get towers, you’ll need to use their banner system.
Here are the codes that you can use in the game:
- PLAY_BETA
- FirstUpdate
- WAVESKIP
- HARDMODE
- IZMEPUG
- SilverPond
To redeem these codes, you’ll want to click on the 4th button at the bottom left of the screen. A new window will appear, click on the button that looks like a scroll on the upper right.
Then, on the left side of the window you can type in the code. And remember, they’re case-sensitive!
Once you’ve redeemed your codes, you should have some currency to do some rolls. Press the second bottom from the top as shown above and this will bring you to the current banners. There, you can find the chances, the cards with rate up and the banners.
Currently, there are only two banners and it’s best to go with the Starter Banner. Roll 10 of them at once to get the best results!
Tower Defense Rise Basics
Now that you have some units under your belt, you should know what they do. There are two types of units and they’re Melee and Ranged Units.
You can place Melee units on the path while the ranged units can be placed around it. When a melee unit gets to 0 HP they fall down and only come back up after the wave.
There are also Hero units which are usually the Rare or above towers. These towers can be moved using the F-key if you need to reposition them.
Tower Types & Classes
There are also different classes of towers and here are all of them in the game and what they do:
Melee
- Duelist – High HP and high attack but can only attack blocked enemies.
- Fighter – Units that can units within their ranged even if they’re unblocked.
- Defender – Units that have high defense and resistance. They can also only attack blocked enemies.
Ranged
- Ranger – High attack-rate ranged units.
- Caster – Units that ignore defenses of enemies but can be blocked by resistance.
- Supporter/Healer – Can either heal or buff towers.
Tower Skills & Upgrades
When you’re in a map and upgrade your towers to their maximum level, some of them can have skills. These skills can range from massive attacks that deal a lot of damage, big buffs or even healing.
Learn what skills your towers can get and use them accordingly.
Outside of playing in maps, you can also upgrade towers by increasing their stats. You can do this by leveling the units using scrolls.
Moreover, you can also Grade them by using a duplicate of the card which gives 1 stat boost with each grade.
Lastly, you can increase their Elite Ranking which can only be done when the unit is at Level 50. You’ll also need a ton of scrolls as well as credits so that’s for end game!
Those are the basics that you’ll need to know for Tower Defense Rise. Now, go out there and try the game out yourself!
