Tower Defense X: How To Elite Mode Solo Triumph Guide

With the Tower Defense X game coming out, many players are enjoying the different levels and towers the game offers. Of course, since it’s a tower defense game, it has some harder difficulties for people to try. Usually, people play these with a group but it’s possible to beat these levels alone even in Elite Mode. The map that we’ll be focusing on is the Ancient Sky Island.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to beat the Ancient Sky Island map in Elite mode in the game. Now, let’s see what we’ll need to do to beat this level!

How To Elite Mode Solo Triumph Guide

There are a lot of different maps that you can play in Tower Defense X. One of those maps is the Ancient Sky Island which looks that difficult. You have a short track, and it circles the end giving towers an easier time acquiring targets.

In Elite difficulty, the short track becomes a liability as you’ll have a shorter time to kill enemies before they get through.

Here are the towers we’ll need to beat this level in Elite mode:

Sniper
Missile Trooper
Operator
EDJ
John

Wave 1

Place a farm and upgrade it to 2-0.
Skip the wave.

Wave 2

Place a Sniper near the end of the path.

Wave 3

Upgrade the farm from a 2-0 to 2-1.

Wave 4

Place a Sniper near the end of the path.

Wave 5

Place another farm and upgrade it to 2-1.

Wave 6

Place a Sniper near the end of the path and the entrance.
Place another farm and upgrade it to 2-0.

Wave 7

Place a Missile Trooper in the area shown below.
Upgrade the first sniper to 1-0.
Upgrade a farm from 2-0 to 2-1.

Wave 8

Upgrade the Missile Trooper to a 0-1.
Place another Sniper and upgrade it to 1-0.
Upgrade a Sniper from 1-0 to 2-0.
Place a Farm and upgrade it to 2-0.

NOTE: Normally, you’ll take damage in this wave, don’t panic.

Wave 9

Upgrade the missile trooper to a 0-2.
Upgrade a farm from 0-0 to 2-1.
Upgrade a farm from 2-0 to 2-1.
Place a farm.

Wave 10

Upgrade a Sniper from a 2-0 to a 2-1.
Upgrade a Sniper from a 1-0 to a 2-1.
Upgrade a farm from a 2-0 to a 2-1.
Upgrade a farm from 0-0 to 2-0.

Wave 11

Upgrade a farm from 2-0 to 2-1.
Place a farm and upgrade it to 2-1.
Upgrade a Missile Trooper from 0-2 to 1-2.
Place a farm and upgrade it to 2-1.

Wave 12

Upgrade a Missile Trooper from 1-2 to 3-2.
Place a Missile Trooper and upgrade it to 0-1.
Place a farm and upgrade it to 2-1.

Wave 13

Place a farm and upgrade it to 2-2.
Upgrade a Missile Trooper from 0-1 to 2-2.
Upgrade a farm from 2-1 to 2-2.

Wave 14

Upgrade 6 Farms from 2-1 to 2-2.

Wave 15

Upgrade a Missile Trooper from 2-2 to 3-2.
Upgrade 3 Farms from 2-2 to 2-3.
Upgrade 1 farm from 2-1 to 2-2.

Wave 16

Upgrade a Missile trooper from 3-2 to 4-2.
Upgrade 4 Farms from 2-2 to 2-3.

Wave 17

Upgrade a Farm from 2-2 to 2-3.
Place an Operator in the area shown below. Upgrade it to 2-4.
Upgrade a Farm from 2-2 to 2-4.

Wave 18

Upgrade an Operator from 2-4 to 2-5.
Upgrade a Missile Trooper from 3-2 to 4-2.

Wave 19

Sell one of the Snipers without any upgrades.
Place a Missile Trooper and upgrade it to 1-3.

Wave 20

Upgrade 2 Missile Troopers from 4-2 to 5-2.
Place an Operator in the area shown below. Upgrade it to 4-2.

Wave 21

Upgrade a Missile Trooper from 2-2 to 2-5.
Upgrade an Operator from 4-2 to 5-2.

Wave 22

Place 3 Missile Troopers and upgrade it to 5-2.
Place an EDJ in the area shown below.

Wave 23

Upgrade an EDJ to 2-0.
Place an EDJ in the area shown below.
Place 2 Missile Troopers and upgrade it to 5-2.

Wave 24

Sell a 0-0 Sniper and replace it with a 2-5 Missile Trooper.
Upgrade an EDJ from 2-0 to 3-2.
Place an EDJ next to the 3-2 one and upgrade it to 2-4.
Place a Missile Trooper near the EDJs and upgrade them to 5-2.
Place an Operator near the EDJs and upgrade them to 5-2.
Sell the 2-1 Sniper and replace it with a 2-4 Missile Trooper.

Wave 25

Upgrade a Missile Trooper from a 2-4 to a 2-5.
Place a Missile Trooper near the EDJs and upgrade them to 5-2.

Wave 26

Upgrade a Sniper from 2-1 to 5-2.
Place 5 Missile Troopers near the EDJs and upgrade them to 5-2.
Place an Operator near the EDJs and upgrade them to 5-2.

Wave 27

Place 2 Snipers near the EDJs and upgrade them to 5-2.
Upgrade an EDJ from 2-4 to 2-5.
Upgrade an EDJ from 3-2 to 5-2.
Place 4 Missile Troopers in the area shown below and upgrade them to 5-2.

Wave 28 (Final)

Before Wave 27 ends, and while Wave 28 begins, start placing Johns in the area shown below. They will act as decoys for the boss. Then, sell all the Farms for the extra cash.

You’ll need to continuously place low-tier units above the boss, so it won’t attack your main force of towers near the middle.

Meanwhile, keep on adding 5-2 Operator, Snipers and Missile Troopers in the area where your main towers are. You’ll have to do this quickly while also placing decoy towers for the boss on top. If done correctly, the boss should be defeated and you’ll win the level!
