Type Soul is one of the many Roblox games heavily inspired by the Bleach anime and manga franchise, and as such, players can eventually unlock their Bankai or Shikai abilities. In this tier list, we will be ranking the best and worst ones that you can have in the game, so let’s get to it!

Best Shikai & Bankai Tier List

Throughout your in-game career in Type Soul, you will likely be rerolling your Shikai a bunch of times as you experiment with all the different possible options.

However, because of the limited number of free rerolls, those who don’t want to spend on Robux might want to know what to aim for when using their precious resources. So, let’s get to the tier list to see which ones you should be keeping!

Type Soul tier list of all the shikai/bankai currently in the game

S Tier

  • Theatre – The newly released Theatre is possibly one of the strongest options in the game right now. It just has some of the best offensive tools in the game and very easily tops this entire category. Expect some balance changes in the near future if its reputation keeps up.
  • Zangetsu – Another one that was recently added to the game, this one is also pretty good, though not as busted as Theatre. It has the advantage of not having a high rarity, making it pretty easy to get, which likely explains why it isn’t too strong.
  • Water Water is surprisingly very strong despite being a common element to roll for. It has a whole lot of ragdoll potential, making it a pretty deadly Shikai element to face as a good user will just never let you play the game.
  • Ink – This is particularly dangerous because of the move that can apply a mark that disables your abilities on hit. This mark is ridiculously easy to land, making this a really strong element.
  • Ice Ice is probably one of the strongest elements in the game because it has a very versatile move set. If you need a short list, it basically has a counter, stuns, ranged attacks and even a dash ability that can also freeze you.
  • Blood Blood is particularly great for aggressive players due to its sliding moves and additional crowd control tools. It also has the added bonus of being able to heal you up throughout a fight, granted that you can land your attacks.
  • Flower – While it has a pretty basic and straightforward kit, the damage output of this element is pretty good. It has a decent ranged move, a guard break ability, and even an area of effect skill that follows you around.

A Tier

  • Shadow Shadow is a decent option to have, and it can easily overwhelm players who do not know how to deal with its moves. It even has an autoexecute that can be amazing if you can consistently land it on low hp enemies.
  • Lightning – This element is particularly good due to all of its moves and teleports, with one of them giving the user temporary invincibility frames when used properly. It also has a pretty good stun and damage potential.
  • Berserk Berserk has great offensive and defensive potential, making it a solid option overall. While it isn’t too busted, a good player can easily beat anyone with this, especially when faced against certain builds.
  • Fire – This element has really good damage potential, especially due to how its moves can apply burn on enemies. Its usefulness falls off against more experienced players, as it can be easily blocked or countered by people who know how your moves work.

B Tier

  • Confusion – Although Confusion is far from the strongest option in the game, it can be really dangerous to fight against if you aren’t prepared. It has a move that flips the target’s screen when hit, as well as other moves that aim to heavily disorient other players.

C Tier

  • Wind – While this may be viable for very specific builds, it is overall fairly mediocre and is lacking in offensive tools. Definitely not the worst option in the game, but there are much better ones than this.
  • Creation – Creation is one of, if not the worst one that you can get in the game. Although the Bankai is pretty okay, its moves overall are just very underwhelming compared to all of the other options you can roll for. Don’t keep this one if you can reroll.

And that concludes this tier list for all the Shikai & Bankai in the game right now, which may increase in number in future updates. While you’re here, go and read our guide on the new factions added to Type Soul as well!
